Right when the 2011 Football Schedule was released Lance and I decided we wanted to go to the closest road game: Ole Miss. What a perfect field, town to travel to! Thursday, August 25, 2011. Don't Mess with Texas:). It was the end of July, and the Uffens had settled in San Antonio. Rach called me up and was anxious to show someone around TX- Ben and I quickly obliged:) I worked mon-tues and then we headed out to TX for the rest of the week (I LOVE being PRN:). Sunday, April 24, 2011. The friday before Easter we all got together at a local park for a fun Easter egg hunt. The weather cooperation was amazing. We had the perfect, short, window from the POURING rain, finished our hunt, and the rain started again as we were pulling out! These upcoming posts are all a mess- but they've been drafted without text for so long and now I am nearly a year behind so I am just gonna post what I have and try to catch up! Pictures say a thousand words! November 28: My sweet Blake's 8 mo stats. Ht: 26.75 in wt: 20 lb 9.5 oz. Enjoying the fall leaves:. Smoothies and milk shakes for every meal- lucky boy! Sunday, March 18, 2012. Despite some recent events we still bleed Cougar blue and are true to our Alma Mater (during basketball season at least:) JK! We were so excited when the Cougs had an AWESOME comeback vs. IONA and came to Louisville for Round 2 of the NCAA tourny- until we looked at ticket prices! Tuesday, December 20, 2011. Santa says "HO HO HO". Ben is still making requests for Santa songs, Frosty songs, "gingle bells" , and holding up Noah from his Little People Noah's ark and saying "Santa says HO HO HO" haha. Friday, November 18, 2011. QUICK trip to P-town. Brooke and Ben making sammies before the game:). It was only 32 degrees and a late game but we bundled up and had a blast- Ben too! He was a trooper! And suckers may have contributed to his good mood:) I wont win any good mom awards in regards to nutrition but Hey, you do what you can to entertain a two year old for HOURS in the freezing cold. These monthly recaps are lacking detail but thats what happens when you get 8 months and thousands of pictures behind- -oh well- -better than nothing:). 4th of July at the Berg's. Filling up the pool before his buddies showed up.ended up being too hot for the pool even! The Low's were in charge of the fireworks and we had a blast! Even though I was scared of lighting the trees on fire the whole time:). Blake couldn't stay awake for the show. He wants to be just like his daddy!
