Happenings in New Zealand: March 2010
http://happenings-in-nz.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 21, 2010. First of all, don't judge me that I went and saw Backstreet Boys! Yeah they are old school, and yeah they are a boy band, but they are good fun and I bet you know all the words to at least 5 of their songs too. Michelle, her sister Andrea, a friend Brooke, and I all went up to Auckland on Thursday to see them. They did all the old dance moves and sang their big hits from the 90's. On Sunday of the same week we went and saw Lady Gaga preform, also in Auckland. WOW! Also, I joined a...

Happenings in New Zealand: December 2009
http://happenings-in-nz.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 22, 2009. Christmas is just a few days away now and I found a couple more photos of my Kiwi Christmas experience. Michelle and I went to visit Santa at the mall. Santa was pretty cheeky and when Michelle asked, "How is your day Santa? He responded, "Better now that you girls are here! And just after that photo 1 was taken. Haha. Then we got a more traditional pose for the 2 nd. If you guessed TLC like many other people did, you're wrong. But, if you guessed Milli Vanilli. Lately the wea...

Happenings in New Zealand: February 2010
http://happenings-in-nz.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 25, 2010. Guess what I did! Well I suppose the photos and the title give it away. Skydiving! Just before Christmas my mom was trying to get me to tell her what I wanted as a gift for Christmas. I couldn't think of anything I really needed and to ship anything to New Zealand is so expensive. Then I had an epiphany! I wanted to go skydiving, but I had been debating it because it was a bit expensive. Well, what if my parents got it for me for Christmas? Also, here is a video of us! It's n...

Happenings in New Zealand: August 2010
http://happenings-in-nz.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 23, 2010. Anyways, I looked through some photos over the last couple months and found some I wanted to share. Well, I moved out of the flat back in June. I've still spent a lot of time of there in the last months and still see the boys often. We did a big clean out and finally got rid of our "rubbish corner". Whenever we were in the the lounge we'd throw our rubbish behind the corner couch, hehe! The flat is now a lot cleaner and quieter I'm sure. One of our recent discovers in Hamilton ha...

http://happenings-in-nz.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 9, 2010. It's been a long time and there's no excuse. Despite the long break in updates, I have no pictures to share. I haven't taken a single photos in the last 6 weeks! I'm still in Hamilton, just moving across town. Michelle and I are moving into her parent's house (they have 2 spare rooms) to save money for upcoming trips! They are a lot of fun to watch and I think I have the basics down now. In other news, I have my flight booked home.plus a few extras, hehe! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Happenings in New Zealand: November 2009
http://happenings-in-nz.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 18, 2009. Halloween, Road trip Part 2, and More Hamilton! In New Zealand Halloween is nothing. There are a few parties here and there, but overall you see very few people dressed up and even less people who have decorated. This year was different. Michelle and I bought some decorations and I surprised my other flat mates with spiderwebs, banners, and skeletons when they came home from work! Look at all the treats we got! Of course we got the, "Aren't you all a bit old for this? Went o...

Happenings in New Zealand: October 2009
http://happenings-in-nz.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 26, 2009. My first road trip! Monday was Labor day in NZ, meaning long weekend! I had to work Friday and Saturday, but I had Sunday and Monday off with my flatmates. We went on my first road trip in NZ. Here's the first picture I took at an overlook on the side of the road. You might not be able to tell from the photo, but it was really quite beautiful! They looked like little laser points all along the top. The place was really cool. My new stomping ground. I'm in New Zealand! A couple d...
