http://shabbychicdog.blogspot.com/2012/07/happiness-have-reached-new-level-of.html
Friday, 27 July 2012. I have reached a new level of happiness recently, with my new found love of crafting! I have always been an arty person, having an A*in both art, design and photography. Once children came along though my love of art took a back seat. Very recently my beautiful friend Em introduced me to crochet and from there scrap booking and all things crafty! Maybe not for a business, but as you cant possibly keep all your makes, a little money back for more supplies and to keep me going for fut...

http://shabbychicdog.blogspot.com/2012/07/so-i-have-decided-as-i-cant-buy-any-i_29.html
Sunday, 29 July 2012. So I have decided as I cant buy any I like in the shops (that are a good price) I shall make my princesses a shrug each, but we are not talking your run of the mill shrug, I mean a crocheted, colourful lil'number with crocheted lace around the edges. I found a lovely pattern that I like:. I thought I'd follow this one for the most part then go my own way on the edges and borders. 10 September 2012 at 11:14. Would love to know what pattern you use! 11 September 2012 at 08:41. My blog...

Sew Loquacious: February 2013
http://sewloquacious.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 27, 2013. Have you heard about the Snowmageddon that hit the Midwest? Well, the big city (KC), has been hit twice in the last week. Heavy snow is actually pretty rare here, but to be hit twice, with soooo much snow is really unusual. Today is the fourth snowday! I'm feeling a little cabin feverish, although I have been able to work on a few handy projects. First, I finished a crocheted scarf I started a few weeks ago. Notice my dress form? I found the Knotted Headband Tutorial. It's b...

Tuesday, 17 May 2011. After seeing Emma's beautful chrocheted blanket I decided to have a go myself! See it here. http:/ emshappyhandiworks.blogspot.com/. To be honest, when I was about 19 I started chrocheting a purple and white (the 'in' colours in the 70's! Blanket - it was made up of loads of squares that had to be sewn together. I was going to have it as a bed throw for when I married in 1973. It never really got past the size of a cot blanket though! I chose a Chocolate Brown and a Turquoise which ...

Living life creatively...: Craft and coffee
http://bouncingbonbon.blogspot.com/2011/06/craft-and-coffee.html
Thursday, June 16, 2011. Got this lovely idea from my friend Emma. A little fabric covered card-book with felt inside for storing your safety pins and sewing needles.}. It's been that kind of week. This week I got stuck into some much needed home maintenance. The doors in the house where screaming for a face-lift, moaning that they hadn't had a botox injection for ages, years actually. Sadly, I had neglected their beauty routine. Now they are all spiffy, white and gleaming with pride! In the meantime bet...
