http://emshappyhandiworks.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 27 July 2011. I hope you are well. Oh I have been feeling most sorry for my self this past 24 hours. But I am gradually feeling just a bit better. I'm not sure what's up, I lost my voice again and had a sore throat yesterday. And horrible headaches too. Today the voice returned after lunch! It was so weird I had a whispery croak all morning, had a shower at lunch-time (I know strange time to shower but the step kids used the all the hot water this morning! But Enough on that. Also this week, w...

Friday, 20 July 2012. I just wanted to pop in and update you all. I'll be very quiet in these next few weeks/month as we are moving house! We are downsizing to a tiny little cottage/bungalow, that I have already fallen in love with despite its smallness and faults (yucky coloured bathroom suite, no central heating, mole ridden garden! I cannot wait to start our new life in it. Since it is so much smaller we have been selling lots of possessions, which has been so very liberating and rewarding! Our new ho...

Emma's Happy Handiworks: February 2013
http://emshappyhandiworks.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, 17 February 2013. I thought I'd share with you some photo's I took this week and today. Just mundane glimpses of my lifes, simple things that make me happy. AAbove is my Mascari (Grape Hyacinth) and pale yellow Primrose. These are placed on my tumble drier, which is 'temporarily' in my kitchen, and I like to use the top as a window sill/ display area. Since adopting our sweet hens, the wild bird life in our garden has greatly increased and I am loving seeing the variety. Here's Great Tit's (oi!

Tuesday, 2 August 2011. Shibby Shabby Shuffle Muffle. In a playful mood today! I saw my bestie buddy's new blog post today. And thought like her I'd follow suit with a silly post title! I had a little blogland wander yesterday (and today while I should have been cleaning.) and came across a few Lovely little blogs, and one of them, Country Rose. Has a GORGEOUS giveaway! I can but only hope that perhaps I'll win such lovely goodies, but I never tend to win anything! So hopes are not too high, but OH!

http://emshappyhandiworks.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Friday, 9 December 2011. How are you feeling today? This is how I'm feeling. This is a current advert on tv here in the UK. (I'm not endorsing Sudafed here, just sharing the ad! I feel just like that cleverly knitted lady! I marvelled at the ad actually, very clever! So yes, I'm feeling ILL again, a big nasty cold, I'm swamped in tissues, sitting here with my cup-a-soup,. I thought I's share with you my Hubby's fancy dress costume I made/re-fashioned! So I will have to try it back on when I feel better!

Emma's Happy Handiworks: January 2013
http://emshappyhandiworks.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, 20 January 2013. After reading my dear friend Bonnie' s. First blog post of the year, I have been inspired to also continue with this blog after deliberately neglecting it since late summer. I'm not blogging for the comments and interest from others (although it must be said I can' t help but be thrilled when I do get both) I have decided that my blog is for me to record all my creative makes and the little things in life that makes me happy. My life has really changed within the year 2012. We do...

Emma's Happy Handiworks: January 2012
http://emshappyhandiworks.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, 22 January 2012. Things I've been quietly making. Welcome to my first post of 2012. My how time flies so quickly! I have been absent due to illness and keeping busy. This past week both my sons and I have been ill. Myself and my little one with a strange 'virus' i guess, that made us very weak and achy, glands swollen and headaches. And my eldest son has had Chicken Pox. I have been a-making a few bits and pieces. I'd discovered a new 'medium' i think its called! So far I've only made cushions an...

Emma's Happy Handiworks: March 2011
http://emshappyhandiworks.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Monday, 21 March 2011. The Granny Stripe Blanket and Other Things. I know I've been absent for a little while. I've had a rather taxing and stressful past month or so, and have totally not felt like blogging at all. Sorry about that. However I have still tried to have a peek of all the blogs I follow, and leave comments when I've had something to say! That I have discovered recently is by such a sweet lady, Tina. That is something I have found most inspiring. One of my favorite posts of hers is. Also on ...

Emma's Happy Handiworks: May 2011
http://emshappyhandiworks.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Monday, 30 May 2011. Long time, No See! I admit I have been a TERRIBLE blogger these past months. Lets just say I've had a lot going on. Today, we have a rather murky dull day, which is typical British Bank Holiday weather! The sky has clouded over and the rain is imminent, but I'm not complaining, as I know how much my young little plants in the garden need it. Anyway, it came back at the end of April, and I really got on with it from then on. I finished it last Monday. But it was just £1 a ball! Howeve...

http://emshappyhandiworks.blogspot.com/2012/09/settled-in-and-loving-life-and-home.html
Saturday, 8 September 2012. Settled in and loving life and home. I am back to the blogosphere! We have had a really lovely summer, settling into our new home and discovering the delights of our surroundings and neighbourhood. Let me share with you some views. My bedroom window, the view I wake up to every morning. This morning there was a blue tit and a robin that came to rest briefly on the lilac tree in my view,. Which was a sight that made my heart skip with joy). My kitchen dining area (and ironning!
