Wish I contacted them sooner! When I first contacted Encouraging Kids I was exhausted, angry, and wanted to just run away. I. Was trying to be a calm parent but I just kept. Screaming all the time. I wasn't sure what to expect. The staff was so warm and welcoming. First thing. They said was "it takes a tremendous amount of. Courage to walk in here and ask for help, you're in. A safe place, let's get started". I still get exhausted sometimes, I still get angry,. But now I don't take it out on my kids.
