Friday, April 20, 2012. With temperatures aiming for about 102º this weekend, it seemed like the appropriate time to break out the sprinklers. Plus, it gave me an excuse to dust off my camera. something I sadly haven't done since Christmas! Happy Summer, folks! Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). If you are looking for an old post from the "musings" section, you won't find it here anymore. You'll now find them archived on my NEW BLOG,. For a quick summary of the transition.

When Heaven Shakes: Bible Time With Bob The Builder
http://whenheavenshakes.blogspot.com/2013/06/bible-time-with-bob-builder.html
Monday, June 24, 2013. Bible Time With Bob The Builder. I try ("try" being the key word) to spend a little time every day with the kids, focused on reading, memorizing and talking about God's word. Well, today, our Bible time topic came courtesy of Bob the Builder. Bet you didn't know Bob the Builder taught Bible lessons! Well, today he did. Today, he talked about how important it is to build on a solid foundation. And quickly had 1 Corinthians 3:10,11 in my hand:. We read that together and had a quick l...

When Heaven Shakes: Coming Soon: Lessons in James
http://whenheavenshakes.blogspot.com/2013/01/coming-soon-lessons-in-james.html
Friday, January 18, 2013. Coming Soon: Lessons in James. It's been a while since I've blogged. Probably a bit too long of a while. I've missed it, and have tried to come back a few times, but just have not felt like the Lord was really trying to speak through me. There are a lot of reasons to choose to write a blog, but I pray that mine would never. Not earthly, selfish purpose, but eternal. I have been reading through the book of James, not with the aid of a study guide, but simply using Anne Graham Lotz.

Artfully Domestic: PINK!
http://artdomestic.blogspot.com/2010/08/pink.html
Monday, August 30, 2010. I finally started working on Olivia's baby blanket this weekend, and I think the project somehow miraculously jolted me out of my couch potato/hopelessly-bored/when's-my-next-nap phase into my nesting/crafting/project-crazed phase. I have two more projects that I want to get done, and I'm sure many more will make their way into my mommy-agenda within the next 6 weeks or so before she's due. I used the fabric that I bought in New York. More glorious Anna Maria. I am a wife and a m...

Artfully Domestic: December 2011
http://artdomestic.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 29, 2011. I went to a baby shower this week, and made these treasures for the mom-to-be. This is the "circus elephant" from More Softies Only A Mother Could Love. Isn't he a cutie? He's a skinny elephant :). And this cozy swaddling blanket with a hand-stitched "Y" for their last name will be the perfect fit for a boy or a girl, since they don't know yet what they're having. This adorable flannel animal print is sooo soft! Links to this post. Labels: arts and crafts. Joy To The World!
