Friday, January 3, 2014. Between trips and people visiting us, we do lead a normal life! This fall the kids have been involved in sports- we started out doing soccer in September and October and then the boys started flag football in November and December- I feel like we were spending our lives sitting at practices or games (however, it was fun! Kailey being a woman of leisure at the game. Cade hamming it up for the camera. Ethan is out there in the center wearing the blue shorts with a white stripe.

Thursday, May 23, 2013. Can't pass up an opportunity to pose! View from the grounds of Alhambra, overlooking the city of Granada. The kids loved racing leaf boats down this little gutter! As I stated, originally it was a fortress. It is set up on a hill and overlooks the city. Where's Ethan and Cade? The carvings were amazing- this picture doesn't do it justice! Monday, April 29, 2013. Ethan helping to open presents (as he said, it was almost as good as his birthday, because the toys Cade got, Ethan got to play with also! Getting ready for cake- we invited over some Spanish friends for Cade's birthday- that is who is holding Kailey. We have left the pirate phase and are now in a Batman phase, so Cade wanted a batman cake for his birthday! Ethan looking on to see what fun toy Cade got! Wednesday, August 21, 2013. A real Spanish Bullfight! WARNING- BLOODY BULL PICTURES! Last week, we left the kids at home again and went to see a REAL Spanish bullfight! While in Spain, you have to see a bullfight- it is a cultural tradition! We are fortunate in that there is a bullring so close to us- it is about 10 minutes away. A couple days ago the Dr. told us that she was in the 95th percentile for her weight and although he didn't want to say it, I got the impression that her head size was probably closer to the 100th percentile.
