8220;I suppose the best kind of spring morning is the best weather God has to offer.” ― Dodie Smith. Friday, February 17, 2012. So I haven't had much to share with the blogging world lately, sorry about that! I just don't feel like anything going on is post-worthy :) Not that this is.its more of a rambling post! Eric and my dad just went skiing in Breckenridge with a group of my dad's friends from church. They had a great time! We had a lovely Valentine's Day this week! Is some info if you're curious....
Lindstrom Life: Harry Potter: The Boy Who Lived
http://ericandlinz.blogspot.com/2011/07/harry-potter-boy-who-lived.html
8220;I suppose the best kind of spring morning is the best weather God has to offer.” ― Dodie Smith. Saturday, July 16, 2011. Harry Potter: The Boy Who Lived. I'm officially obsessed. About 10 years late, I know. I haven't read the books. I hadn't seen any of the movies until approximately 2006, when Eric suggested we watch them all that were out at the time. I didn't have anything against them, just didn't think they were my cup of tea. HA. I'm an idiot. I loved the fantasy, creativity, magic, the spell...

8220;I suppose the best kind of spring morning is the best weather God has to offer.” ― Dodie Smith. Tuesday, June 5, 2012. So I've been absent from this place, for a while. Its not that life is boring by any means, but I just haven't felt like there is anything worthy of posting about quite honestly! Summer has arrived and I am very excited about that fact! I can't give up everything all the time. I am all about moderation! He doesn't have a summer class this year (thank you Lord), because he chose to d...

Harry Potter: The Boy Who Lived. I'm officially obsessed. About 10 years late, I know. I haven't read the books. I hadn't seen any of the movies until approximately 2006, when Eric suggested we watch them all that were out at the time. Harry started off so timid and cute. Ron was awkward and cute in a funny sort...

8220;I suppose the best kind of spring morning is the best weather God has to offer.” ― Dodie Smith. Thursday, September 6, 2012. Time to make some eggs! Well the time has arrived. I am fully engaged in daily shots, pills, vitamins and prayer, in preparation to undergo IVF next week. NEXT WEEK! I am half-way through taking Follistim, which is what matures multiple eggs at once. So my ovaries are awake! Praise God I have not had any side effects, etc from any of these meds. Praying this continues. We got ...

Life is Good: Middle of the Road Churches
http://rebarron.blogspot.com/2010/01/middle-of-road-churches.html
Simple thoughts from a simple life. Tuesday, January 12, 2010. Middle of the Road Churches. William C. Taylor writes in his new book,. For decades, organizations and their leaders were comfortable with strategies and practices that kept them in the middle of the road—that’s where the customers were, so that’s what felt safe and secure. Today, with so much change and uncertainty, so much pressure and new ways to do things, the middle of the road is the road to nowhere. Are you the most of anything? The ag...
Life is Good: May 2009
http://rebarron.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Simple thoughts from a simple life. Saturday, May 9, 2009. Mission Trip to Armenia and Israel. Last month, 270 Oklahomans travelled to Northern Europe for a music missions trip. I sing in a group known as the Singing Men of Oklahoma. Through almost three years of planning, praying, and preparation, we had developed an itinerary that included singing for over a million people in one day, and celebrating Armenia's most sacred national holiday. Links to this post. Monday, May 4, 2009. Blessings, friends, for.
Life is Good: Get a Grip, People....
http://rebarron.blogspot.com/2010/01/get-grip-people.html
Simple thoughts from a simple life. Wednesday, January 6, 2010. Get a Grip, People. It's official. It's winter here in Oklahoma. We have had snow on the ground for about two weeks, and supposedly more is on the way. Bitter, frigid temperatures hovering below the -0- mark are in store for us over the next few days. And maybe, just maybe, and inch of snow. And so, all schools are closed tomorrow, some for Friday as well. There is no milk or bread at Wal. Feel free to comment. View my complete profile.
Life is Good
http://rebarron.blogspot.com/2010/01/aged-wood-is-beginning-to-reveal-its.html
Simple thoughts from a simple life. Tuesday, January 12, 2010. The aged wood is beginning to reveal its weaknesses against the power of the weather; cracks and chips follow its sinewy grain. The door hangs at a slight angle, giving way to the rise and fall and movement in the frame of the house itself; floating slightly with the spring rains, sinking again with the cooler weather and contracting concrete slab. Yesterday, we lost the doorknob. But the striker bolt refused to budge. I tapped it lightly...
Life is Good: June 2009
http://rebarron.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Simple thoughts from a simple life. Sunday, June 28, 2009. In Our Own Image. In a Bible study tonight, my mind and heart were slammed into reality as we considered the historical Jesus. We spoke about His genealogy. His lineage, and his backstory. And we were challenged with this thought. Based on historical research and study, Jesus was probably short in height, with thick, dark hair and a ruddy middle-eastern complexion. For generations, we (in the West) have imagined Jesus as a tall Caucasian. While l...
Life is Good: The Cost of Discipleship
http://rebarron.blogspot.com/2010/01/cost-of-discipleship.html
Simple thoughts from a simple life. Monday, January 11, 2010. The Cost of Discipleship. I stand (sit at my desk, actually) convicted by these words, written ages ago by Deitrich Bonhoffer:. When God calls, go. Do not try to see how it fits into yours or anyone else's plans. Do not dictate your terms. God has plans. When you find them, though you may not understand them, you will find they fit. Feel free to comment. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Books I Am Reading.
Life is Good: Roll...... SEC!
http://rebarron.blogspot.com/2010/01/roll-sec.html
Simple thoughts from a simple life. Thursday, January 7, 2010. The University of Alabama has just defeated the Unversity of Texas in the national championship game in college football. Pasadena and the Rose Bowl (sponsored by CITI) played host to the big game, and was a gracious host city. The hype, the pre-game buzz, the months of trash-talking has come to an exciting end. And I wish I could say I couldn't be happier. Truth is, I. Hate The University of Alabama. So, I will default to my optimistic, 'my ...

Est august 8, 2007. We went to the ReAL game last night to see my nephew go out on the field with the players. It was really neat to see him do that. He got to hang out with the players in the locker room and then they held hands as they walked out on the field. It was pretty cute. I am glad I took my camera! Posted by Eric and Lindsay. Links to this post. Today is the day we celebrate our THREE year anniversary! I got my first Coach purse at the wonderful premium outlets at Camarillo. Eric is the best!

The Mitton Family
Tuesday, April 12, 2011. Posted by Lindsay and Eric Mitton. Tuesday, June 22, 2010. My most recent grocery trip. My latest trip to the grocery store I have decided is "worthy of the blog". Eric chuckled (and I swear he rolled his eyes) when I got home and started setting up the groceries to take a picture, but I was excited. so here it is. Total at checkout: $169.99. Total I paid: $88.69. Total after a mail-in-rebate: $73.69! That's over a 50% savings! Plus I earned a 15 cent fuel reward! 2 bags of flour.

Finding purpose, passion, freedom, love and trust in life. ON OUR JOURNEY WE MUST REMEMBER. September 11, 2015. Lisa A. Salisbury. To forget we cannot. To forgive we must. Others that harm we should take alarm. To call upon our heart’s to recognize our demise. For the hurt of one is the hurt of all. What will it take before we stop making mistakes. To grow in love for all and above. Reach your hand to your fellow man. To ban together we can survive any weather. When we all sing along with one song of LOVE.
Between the Lines
Wednesday, January 18, 2012. Well I have been meaning to blog Holly's months for months now. So here they are. I can't believe how much she has grown. Tuesday, December 6, 2011. What could be more perfect then listening to Christmas music with my hubby next to me while drinking hot chocolate? Well maybe if a sleigh full of elves rolled up and cleaned my entire house, did my laundry, and did all my Christmas shopping. But right now it is perfect. Yep, love birds. Eric and Lissas Family Blog. Occasional photo updates centered around the little poop monster who has joined our family. Wednesday, November 4, 2009. Some mathetmaticians actually wrote a paper on how to deal with a Zombie outbreak. Now I know I missed my calling. Math and Zombies. Awesomeness. In summary, a zombie outbreak is likely to lead to the collapse of civilisation, unless it. Is dealt with quickly. While aggressive quarantine may contain the epidemic, or a cure may.
