Tuesday, March 22, 2011. This past weekend we took a weekend get-away with Mike, Laura and Mike's brother Derek to South Lake Tahoe! We rented a cabin in South Lake Tahoe that had a hot tub and a nice fenced in yard for Alee and brought all the fixins for great home-cooked meals. When we arrived Friday evening, they were getting 3 inches of snow per hour! Luckily we had our Subaru so there were no concerns on our part, but we definitely saw lots of people struggling to get up the pass on the way there!

Sunday, June 12, 2011. Jacki and Katie Visit! After tons of travel for the month of May, we decided to take Memorial Day weekend off and just relax and clean the house a little. The rest and time was very much needed since we had to prepare for Jacki and Katie's visit the first weekend of June! We met them down in San Fran on Friday and had fun exploring a little bit of California. First stop: Point Reyes National Seashore. Sea lions on the beach. Reverting back to childhood. Our little "lap dog" Alee.

Sunday, June 12, 2011. After Jacki and Katie's trip, we wanted to go camping in the beautiful spring time weather! BUT we also wanted to do a bunch of other things, so we decided to have all the best parts of camping but stay at home. Saturday night we made a fire and enjoyed S'mores and Margaritas in our Alite camping chairs. The weather was nice (50s) but Alee was still a little cold.and decided that Ed's lap would be warmer. (Ed's lap which was in a tiny little chair.). Fire in our little fire pit.

Saturday, November 13, 2010. Diamond Lake and SNOW! Well, winter has definitely started in Oregon! Our first snow came in mid-October, but was gone quickly. Since then, the snow has been off and on at least once a week BUT in the mountains, it's actually staying around! In light of this new season, Ed and Kristin decided to take Alee to play in the snow! Wednesday, April 20, 2011. Beach and Waterfall Weekend. For those of you who don't know, our trips have been rather limited over the last 2 weeks because Alee was spayed on April 4th. The surgery went fine, but she was up and ready to go within 24 hours! Wednesday, April 14, 2010. It's been a while since our last post, but 2010 has started pretty rocky for us. We returned from Virginia in January and got back to life as we knew it. In February we went to Winter Park, CO for a little weekend getaway. The altitude made me pretty sick for a couple days, but eventually I got used to it. We did some awesome snowshoeing and loved the BnB! Here are some pics! In April, we went off to Vegas for Brett and Lisa's wedding. The wedding was awesome! Oh, My NOLA.

Friday, October 29, 2010. Portland Weekend with Alee. This past weekend Ed and I packed up the car (with Alee) and headed to Portland to see Matt Insley's latest musical, Hearts Beating. Matt is the music director.) The show was hilarious and we really enjoyed it - we highly recommend seeing this one if you have the opportunity! Saturday, June 26, 2010. Klamath Kinetic Challenge 2010. So Ed and I wanted to spend the weekend in Klamath Falls and check out downtown a little. We had planned to just visit the farmer's market and get some lunch, but we ended up stumbling upon the annual Klamath Kinetic Challege! Was small, but very cute. They had actual farmers there that were selling actual plants! After a fantastic lunch at the Daily Bagel. It was really a ton of fun to watch everyone and we even met some pretty awesome people!
