Erin Goes Abroad

Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Welcome to the Philippines! We are finally in the Philippines! Over Sunday and Monday, we lost a day and were in the air over 15 hours. We spent Monday night in a hotel a short way from the airport and reveled in the air conditioning, knowing it would probably be our last for a long while. On Tuesday, we woke up and walked to the bus station where we got on the bus and proceeded to ride for 6 hours. Tomorrow we will be starting our ministry times with a prayer walk through the...

Erin Goes Abroad: June 2015

http://www.eringoesabroad.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html

Sunday, June 28, 2015. The Halfway Point and Spiritual Warfare. My team and I also had our first outreach meeting. We will be leaving on August 9th to head out to the Philippines. We will be spending about two weeks in San Fernando, then about two weeks in Dagupan, and then around four weeks in Cebu. Of course, things can change and we try to be flexible in order to let God use us in the best way possible. I am more than willing to let you know what's going on! Location: Denver, CO, USA. One of my favour...

Erin Goes Abroad: May 2015

http://www.eringoesabroad.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html

Saturday, May 30, 2015. This week, we had Dave Powers speak. He rocked my world! How often do people think about the fact that when they are praying, they are indeed talking with the Creator of the Universe, but they are talking to the same man who died on a cross for our sins. How crazy is that? I am continuing to learn more about who God is and what He has for me. As I am getting to know Him better, I'm able to hear Him better and know His heart more. I am so excited for it! God bless, Erin. Learning a...

Erin Goes Abroad: Holy Spirit

http://www.eringoesabroad.blogspot.com/2015/07/holy-spirit.html

Saturday, July 18, 2015. There was so much information given to us, and I really look forward to looking back through my notes, doing more research into what we've been taught. On Fridays, we have small groups. My small group combined with another small group and we went over to my leader's house and we got to watch the movie Big Hero 6 (totally worth watching, if you haven't already! And then we got to sit down and have a full lasagna meal with a delicious salad and gluten free homemade lasagna!

eringobravely | The musings of a girl trying to be brave, accept risks, and not take life too seriously

The musings of a girl trying to be brave, accept risks, and not take life too seriously. June 8, 2015. June 8, 2015. Summer is officially under way — no more papers, no more books, no more students’ dirty looks. My grand plans for summer include painting an accent wall in the kitchen, planting flowers and a tree in our front yard, and adding some new edging to the backyard. Enjoy this one time around. If it’s done right, it will feel like you’ve traveled the world a thousand times around. December 3, 2014.

I have witnessed five European music festivals and sang karaoke in two different European countries and on an island. I have held a week old. In my arms, and have. Ed with ninety seven year old.
