Monday, January 12, 2009. London's Homeless Rate Drops. I'll be moving in on Saturday. (Clapham is on the Northern line, about two stops up from where I was living before in Tooting, and has a nice park, and lots of restaurants and shops.). It's been great staying with Gemma and having girly nights in, but it will be nice to be able to unpack and not have to spend most of my day on the train. . But the silver lining is that it will be a long, long time before I have to make that journey again. .

After Edinburgh I visited Liverpool and Manchester, but I confess that my sightseeing was limited to a pub, bar, Pizza Express, and a screening of "Vicky Cristina Barcelona.". It's always so sad when the Christmas breaks ends, as it is always one of the few times of the year I get to see almost everyone in my family. Making a door hanger for a senior citizen's center.
