Tuesday, June 21, 2011. I mentioned prayer in my previous post. Well, I've been doing a lot of that lately. And it's been a lot of kind of selfish prayer, at that. At least 3 times. I have become incredibly lazy and nonproductive, and I don't like it. And yet, I can't seem to stop myself. This wouldn't be such a problem, except that I swore. Monday, November 29, 2010. Back In the Saddle (Or Running Shoes) Again. Okay, so I went and found myself a training plan for the half marathon in the Frostbite series (Jan. 22). I was supposed to start that plan last Monday. I ran a total of 5 miles last week. Definitely not what my training plan called for. So I readjusted my training plan in a post-Thanksgiving haze. I started it tonight. I forced myself to go to the Y, despite the last vestiges of a migraine. Today sucked at school- very stressful....

Another new family favorite and it was so easy to make! Most ingredients came from Aldi. 1/3 block velveeta cheese. 1 lb ground beef. I so recommend buying a cow! The ground beef had NO grease! So much better than store bought! 2 tbls yellow mustard. 2 tbls brown sugar. I used Soy sauce this time because I didn't have worscherstire). 8 Bake for 15 minutes!

Between these and my crock pot, cooking dinner can be almost as easy as hitting up the drive thru! This is one of those, "throw whatever in the pot and it will still taste good" meals. 1 cup white instant rice. 1/2 bag frozen corn. 1 can of tomatoes and green chilies. 1 can of black beans drained and rinsed.

I've been using My Fitness Pal for a month now, and let me tell you about the difference it has made! I've lost 5 pounds. I have been trying to lose that same 5 pounds for 9 months. Who knew it was my diet? I workout 4-6 times a week and wasn't losing any weight. Running and body weight exercises were doing nothing for me on the scale. His, Mine and Ours.
