Dal, Hel & Bel: It all started with .... an email?
http://helenpetersen.blogspot.com/2012/06/it-all-started-with-email.html
Wednesday, 13 June 2012. It all started with . an email? So, australia to canada huh? Are you trying to hit all the former. British colonies before you die? Having lived in the u.s., i know what. Living under the thumb of the british is all about. always making me. Worship king george, and buy their stupid tea at jacked up prices. I enjoy living under the thumb of the british. Although I haven't yet. Experienced it, i'd say it's better than living under the oppression. Tea is overrated anyway. My first e...

Dal, Hel & Bel: Sleep
http://helenpetersen.blogspot.com/2011/08/sleep.html
Tuesday, 2 August 2011. I live for sleep. I am certain I could sleep 20 hours in the day and still be tired after waking up. That is why I need my morning naps. As mentioned previously, Isabel likes to sit on my bed playing on my laptop while I have a nap. This morning didn't go so well. I gave her a muesli bar to eat while I napped. I while later I heard her rustling in our bathroom. Mummy, where's the wipes? What do you need wipes for, Isabel? To wipe the bed.". Time to wake up mummy". Ps we had a rosn...

Dal, Hel & Bel: Midsomer
http://helenpetersen.blogspot.com/2012/12/midsomer.html
Saturday, 1 December 2012. From the moment we married, Dal and I have been watching Detective Barnaby in Midsomer Murders. We love the ambling easy going pace that the show offers. Detective Barnaby is always cheeky and a gets a bit cranky when others aren't keeping up with him. I fondly remember watching the show on ABC once or twice a week when I was pregnant with Isabel. I could never make through an entire episode and would fall asleep usually as Barnaby discovered the second murder. That you could h...

Dal, Hel & Bel: William Thomas (The Goose)
http://helenpetersen.blogspot.com/2012/06/william-thomas-goose.html
Monday, 18 June 2012. William Thomas (The Goose). Unfinished posts from October last year claiming that I was back in the blogging game. The first one is actually not too bad. It's the story of Williams birth, so I've decided to give it to you now. I couldn't let so much writing just go to waste. My lesson to be learned from this baby is DEFINITELY Patience. To "holy crap I want to shoot myself in the head. or where-ever it is that will stop the pain.". The nurses managed to convince me to lay down on th...

Dal, Hel & Bel: My kind of "Love Language"
http://helenpetersen.blogspot.com/2011/08/my-kind-of-love-language.html
Tuesday, 23 August 2011. My kind of "Love Language". Those people who invented the whole love language thing. I think they missed at least one language. What makes my heart pitter patter is the dulcet sounds of this sentence spoken by the sweet love of my life:. We should have takeout tonight". I should have embraced that language years ago. Hang on! Have I ever heard it? Saturday, 27 August 2011 at 9:41:00 pm GMT-7. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). What time is it where I used to live?

Sunday, 24 March 2013. Happy Pills generally save me at least once every day. It's hot. It's eleven in the evening and I am wide awake. Two nights in a row now. I haven't been able to go to sleep. I've been suffering from complete exhaustion for the past four weeks and now I can't sleep? Should I just let all these things slide? Give myself a break. Or does giving myself a break just mean I'll be teetering on the edge for longer? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). What time is it where I used to live? A Toddler...

Just imagine...: May 2010
http://heleneandtim.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 9, 2010. I don't know how she does it! Thank you for being my mum, and the person I aspire to be. We all love and adore you. Last Night we had an early mothers day celebratory dinner. We wanted to get together before Wally and Wanda head off on their annual winter escape. Paul fed lady-muck until her heart was content. She had plum chicken kebabs, fried rice, beef stew, tuna patties with aoli, and then trifle and profiteroles for dessert. What a hungry little caterpillar! Monday, May 3, 2010.

Just imagine...: June 2010
http://heleneandtim.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 4, 2010. Time to smell the roses. Here goes the monthly blogger. May is always an interesting month. There are a few birthdays in the family and it is almost winter. So normally its time for a bit of fun and a last ditch effort at getting the house and garden ready for winter. But this month we sadly had to say good-bye to Tim's grandmother. We wish her peace and thank her for enriching our lives. 24th February 1923 - 20th May 2010. Dear Great nan,. I am so happy for you to be reunited.
