Where I write about the many things that interest me. Friday, August 13, 2010. Dog' days of Summer. I never have been fond of summer. too hot to do much of anything. Can't take the dogs anywhere because of the heat. Of course I work out in the heat, so it seems to me like the summer lasts forever! One of the things I have been doing, because I can sit in front of the fan and do it, is crochet! So, here are a few of the latest projects. many will be posted on my Etsy store as soon as I can.

Conversations with Ginger: On Black History Month
http://craftyk9-gingerc.blogspot.com/2011/02/on-black-history-month.html
Where I write about the many things that interest me. Saturday, February 5, 2011. On Black History Month. I have never been fond of hyphenated Americans, of any kind. If you are a citizen of this country, born or naturalized, you are AMERICAN, period. That said, it is February, and hence it is again Black History Month. Another designation I have never been happy with. Why not American History month? In fact, let’s go back to the beginning of the country. I do not have enough space here to cover the enti...

What do you do with a ball of yarn? | Gothwifery
https://gothwifery.wordpress.com/2015/01/19/what-do-you-do-with-a-ball-of-yarn
Books, cooking, knitting and other incredibly exciting things. New Year, new words. What do you do with a ball of yarn? If I had a cat, my problem would be solved. Here it is, the object of my indecision! I only have this one ball, so obviously my project has to be relatively small. Hat, socks, gloves, scarf…. I list in my head. I have a lot of scarves though. Too many even. There is one I knitted a year ago and still haven’t found the time to block it! Not a scarf then. Baudelaire socks by Cookie A.

March | 2011 | Cinnamon Girl

Just another WordPress.com site. March 30, 2011. The insulin resistance diet. Well, I have a positive update to share! It’s strange to say but I do believe that something is changing now that I’m taking cinnamon everyday. I think the biggest difference is that the belly bloat is going away and my muscles just feel, well…stronger. I just don’t feel like I’m retaining water all of the time anymore. Cinnamon and me so far. March 17, 2011. Health benifits of cinnamon. Cinnamon is a small tree that is commonl...

Where I write about the many things that interest me. Saturday, July 3, 2010. So, about me. I am 51 years old, born in Detroit, MI in November 1957. Haven't been back to Detroit since, LOL! I have grown up loving animals, especially dogs and horses. Over the years I have had many different dogs, both purebred and mixed. I have raised, trained and shown several. Not near as much as I would have liked. Life tended to get in the way. Showing dogs can be an expensive hobby! I'll post more pictures later.
