1000 Words: April 2010
http://moonovertreesphotos.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 30, 2010. End of the Month. Funny how you never think about certain things until you see the calendar. I completely forgot that today was the last day of April until I started writing this post. It's been a busy, but overall, good month, and I am going to bed feeling a little better about work than how I woke up. That is due, in part, to ending the day at Caswell, with my kids and my church group, and the joy associated therefrom. 8212; it's just WRONG.). Tonight post-unload, and post crown...

1000 Words: July 2010
http://moonovertreesphotos.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 31, 2010. And the pie pans went home, scrapped clean. Til next July, huh? Friday, July 30, 2010. A lot in my head. None of it is getting out of my fingers on to the screen. Here are a couple pics for the day: A funny pic of Drew from the new porch and a pretty good moon shot from tonight. Kids and I went to Johnson City to watch Dinner for Schmucks - a waste of money, but that's another thing all together. Thursday, July 29, 2010. No pic - exhausted. Too many work issues to articulate, and...

1000 Words: November 2010
http://moonovertreesphotos.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 30, 2010. I love a late night grocery run when I am on the road. Today's hours on the road - to Charlotte, then to Hickory and now in Huntersville, were productive, but the late night snack sometimes must be sated. So after I walked back into my room (and it was hot as hell - I hate uni-temperature hotel rooms), I decided I needed a few items from Lowes Foods. So I grabbed a few staples:. 1 my beloved Diet Pepsi, which remains the one liquid exception to my water rule. So $20 later (bou...

1000 Words: What I Do
http://moonovertreesphotos.blogspot.com/p/what-i-do.html
In Life or in General? Professionally, I am a sales guy, working with a group of very talented of agency owners and employees helping employers understand the complicated world of employee benefits and establishing a different expectation from their benefits consultants. I love the sales aspect of the job, but also the management, operations, geeky, and analytical parts too. The downside is that the job means I am on the road all of the time. 1000 Words: June 2010
http://moonovertreesphotos.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 30, 2010. Architecture and a Rant. So I sat on the deck, and listened to a 90 year old docent (ok, that was mean - she couldn't have been a day over 75) read the script and improvise about the various structures along this strip of water flowing around downtown. And I did what I do: I took pictures, particularly of those things that struck me. Closing out the first half of the year. I started this little project back in January in Richmond, solely for the purpose of making myself take pic...

1000 Words: October 2010
http://moonovertreesphotos.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 31, 2010. Leaving St. Louis. We had a fun day - many complex thoughts and memories of the day. Of course, I don't want to leave the impression that the boy is a complete social freak: later, he and CJ were running around the pool at the Four Seasons, shooting cap guns at each other. never mind, that's not convincing counter-evidence. Sorry. The ghosts came to me in my dreams, and they had good words, truthful words and I carry on. We say goodbye to St. Louis. Hate a bad night of sleep.

1000 Words: With Family
http://moonovertreesphotos.blogspot.com/2011/01/with-family.html
Saturday, January 1, 2011. The way to start the New Year should be with family and friends. I ended the night (but before midnight) in Greensboro with friends, and shared the night and early morning with my kids on our way to Banner Elk. There was a nutty episode during which I was expected to manage the insanity of someone's unreasonable fears, at 1:30 am, that caused great distress to my children, but, as usual, that didn't matter. I am just about done with that.). The first day is done. 364 to go.
