Evas Adventures in Nursing. Sunday, May 16, 2010. I'm DONE with nursing school and officially a Graduate Nurse! And all I can say is PHEW! Definitely not one of the easiest years I've had, but I am so happy that I did it. One year and one more BS under my belt and it sure does feel good. Maybe I still don't feel completely ready to be a grown up, but its a little less intimidating now with a specific career directive. But for the time being, I am ready to RELAX for a bit :). 5 more days in the BAT house!

Evas Adventures in Nursing. Wednesday, January 6, 2010. So I still have 3 weeks left of Xmas break, but I'm still anticipating the start of the Spring semester. But I guess I can survive one more! Break has been pretty great so far! I've been working a decent amount at Jean Jacques and making some pocket money, we'll see how far I can make it go. My guess is probably about two weeks before I'm broke again :(. Can't wait to get them up and running! I am really looking forward to some warm weather and suns...

Evas Adventures in Nursing. Monday, February 8, 2010. So I guess I got a little lazy in blogging the past couple of weeks, and my vacation seems so long ago that its hardly news. But it was fun and I'd like to relive it vicariously through this post, so I'll give the somewhat abridged version (although I'm not so good at abridging)! It was great because I never let myself adjust to the 3 hour time difference - I'd wake up at 8am AZ time (really 11am NY time) and still have the whole day ahead of me!

Evas Adventures in Nursing. Friday, November 13, 2009. Today's Friday the thirteenth. Nothing bad has happened so far, but my fingers are still crossed. She was so amazing! In other PICU news, there are TONS of kids there with H1N1 (get your shot! And I also saw another kid get his breathing tube removed from his throat, which was a little scary but went well. Evas Adventures in Nursing. Friday, December 11, 2009. Phew, I felt like this weekend would never come! Over break I will hopefully be able to go on a vacation of some sort with my mom! We are thinking of visiting family in Arizona, or maybe seeing some of California. I'd really love to do both but we'll see :) I have never seen California, but its also been years since going to see my relatives in Arizona.decisions decisions!
