Friday, February 3, 2012. A heaven sent addition to our family. Or at least at Christmas time. Yes I know it's Groundhog's Day, but I need to catch up at some point, so bare with me. As I was saying, this little guy is Heaven sent well.actually. Thanksgiving weekend my kids got an email from the Big Guy in the red suit:. Dear Keira, Caleb, Violet, Sadie and Daylon,. Thank you so much for your letters! Your new elf friend has already left the North Pole and is on his way to your home in Lake Elsinore!

Monday, June 18, 2012. Best big boy ever! Caleb has loved Kindergarten (not the homework so much, but that's another story). As great as it is to watch your kid get an award for academics, there's something special about watching them get an award for behavior. Each trimester, the teacher decideds who the best behaved student was and they're given the "Super Star Behavior" award. For the second trimester, Caleb was chosen! We are SO very proud of him! Caleb shaking Mr. Dent's hand. Caleb and Mrs. Lane.

Tuesday, June 5, 2012. Getting a move on. The down side to turning your blog into a journey is that I feel HORRIBLY guilty to my kids when I fall behind and I realize I can't just skip a few months. So, I believe I'm at Christmas. Aunt Emily and the kids assembled the gingerbread house. Gotta love Aunt Emily! House (and the goodies the kids and I made during break). It's not Christmas until SANTA VISITS! He loves visiting with Santa more than any other kid I know. He has never ONCE cried for Santa.

Friday, September 30, 2011. Violet and Sadie started school the day after Labor day at Mrs. Roger's Neighborhood Preschool! School and I LOVE. Having 3 hours, two days a week with only one kiddo! Monday, July 25, 2011. I am so unmotivated these days it's pathetic. I am only now getting around to posting about the fourth of July for that very reason. Okay, so the fourth of July was towards the end of the Gallo Family Reunion (my mom's side) and was a total blast. The only down side was driving to Corona everyday, but the company and laughs made up for it 10 fold. These ladies just crack me up! I still think the Fourth of July is one of my favorite holidays. Elizabeth has two loves in this world. Minnie Mouse and Dogs. Her first party was held with a Minnie Mouse theme. Grandma De La Cerda made her a delicious chocolate cake. She tried to blow out the candle, but help was offered by way of a small cousin. Open, open, open. Aunt Emily made this a bit large for me.
