Sunday, November 27, 2011. An early birthday celebration. With the hustle and bustle of the holidays and the fact that the girls’ Nutcracker performance is on December 3. This year, we decided to celebrate Robert’s and Brianna’s birthday early. Brianna loved the idea because that meant she got all of her presents two weeks before her actual birthday! After our bellies were stuffed, it was time to open presents. This picture is priceless because she has NO IDEA what it is! Of course, someone had to help.

Sunday, August 28, 2011. First day of school. We concluded our first week of school for the 2011-2012 school year and it was B-U-S-Y! We had something going on every night, which made the week fly by! I know things will settle down soon and we will all be used to our new schedule. Saturday, November 26, 2011. The girls’ dance studio participates in their city’s Christmas parade. Since the studio does an annual Nutcracker production, it’s a chance for the studio to promote this event to the public. More importantly for me, though, it’s a chance for my girls to wear their cute Nutcracker costumes and be in a parade! After dropping the girls off at the studio, Robert, Braden, and I headed to find a spot to watch the parade. First, Braden needed to get his wagon decorated in style.

Thursday, June 30, 2011. I took the kids to see How to Train Your Dragon at the local movie theater this morning. They have summer specials where they play a new movie every week for $1, so it was well worth the $4 for us to beat the Texas heat and see a movie on the big screen. 1) He didn't wake up in the best mood (he's on summer schedule and the movie started at 9:30, so we had to book it to be on-time). Monday, February 14, 2011. Even though I work, I try to be at as many school functions as I can for the kids. Sunday, October 31, 2010. We started a tradition of letting the kids carve their pumpkins on Halloween, or close to it, at least! This is Bailey's 2nd year in GA's and I can't say enough how much I LOVE our children's ministry program. Tuesday, August 6, 2013. First Day of Homeschool. Yesterday was our first day of homeschool for 2013-2014. Jackson began 2nd grade and Jordan is now in preschool. It was wonderful. Our day was full of learning, laughter, and love. :o). Instead of taking the kiddos school shopping, I gave them a each a back-to-school gift bag. In it were some fun school items for this year.
