140.6 miles is a long way to chafe: Ironmen don't wear board shorts

http://clydesdale2kona.blogspot.com/2012/06/ironmen-dont-wear-board-shorts.html

1406 miles is a long way to chafe. Sh#t The Boy says. Ironmen don't wear board shorts. Ironmen don't wear board shorts. It's a fact, you can tell the who is serious about their swimming and who is just there for a good time. We triathletes are a specific breed, we like to be in control even though we are often at our limits, and we like our kit! However, I also have to maintain a full time job and spend time with my family (for some reason, they still enjoy my company? And, as much as I'd like to dedicat...

140.6 miles is a long way to chafe: August 2013

http://clydesdale2kona.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html

1406 miles is a long way to chafe. Sh#t The Boy says. They tell us that "time flies when you're having fun" but as I sit here on my bed in the dark, listening the the wind whipping through the trees outside I am also very aware that enjoyment is not the only factor that seems to minimize the passing of time. Sure there have been some good times in the past five months since I wrapped up a very successful race season, but I find it hard to believe that almost a half year has ticked by already! Oh well, it...

140.6 miles is a long way to chafe: March 2013

http://clydesdale2kona.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html

1406 miles is a long way to chafe. Sh#t The Boy says. The seas were angry that day my friends. I've been writing this blog for like a year now, I'm entitled to one Seinfeld quote, besides, it's appropriate. As I rested, the team are ready. Race I was ready to do this. On the sand and in the water before the start I caught up and chatted with many of the people I had met and trained with since joining this sport, many about to begin their first Ironman and again it struck me that none seemed nervous. ...

140.6 miles is a long way to chafe: January 2014

http://clydesdale2kona.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html

1406 miles is a long way to chafe. Sh#t The Boy says. There is a new calendar on my fridge door and this past weekend I finally got around to putting away all of the Christmas decorations so I guess it's time to concede, a new year has arrived. Welcome all to 2014. Every couple of days a new email will land in my inbox, giving me the latest updates and a "days remaining" indication for the events I have scheduled over the next couple of months. Again, like last year, the familiar questions arise. Progres...

140.6 miles is a long way to chafe: May 2013

http://clydesdale2kona.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html

1406 miles is a long way to chafe. Sh#t The Boy says. It's been five years since I started this triathlon gig and almost 10 from the time I began trying to get back into shape. I've just completed another race season and I've finally come to a conclusion - I'm done. So, that's it. I am tired of fighting the power to weight ratio from only one side of the equation. I'm keen to get this new journey kicked off, to learn what I've been doing wrong and make some real progress finally. Posted by creative hack.

140.6 miles is a long way to chafe: Back to the hills

http://clydesdale2kona.blogspot.com/2015/12/back-to-hills.html

1406 miles is a long way to chafe. Sh#t The Boy says. Back to the hills. The past four years, the end of March has meant Melbourne Ironman. In its inaugural year I worked the aide station at the 28km mark of the marathon for 13 hours, the following three years I competed in the race (never once spending more time on course than that first year) and had entered the race again for 2016 less than 24 hours after crossing the finish line. And Ironman Australia will be held on the 3rd of May. Waking at 5:38am ...

140.6 miles is a long way to chafe: Time for a change

http://clydesdale2kona.blogspot.com/2015/11/time-for-change.html

1406 miles is a long way to chafe. Sh#t The Boy says. Time for a change. A bit has changed since those early days and so I'm now dusting off the old blog and bringing up to date with my new focus and have changed the name of the blog's address. Welcome to the first post in "Clydesdale2Kona". My goals following season 2014/15. Milestone 1 checked off! Message from The Wife. Knowing I had clocked a good time I fought through leg cramps on the run and in doing was able to tick off a second item from my post...

140.6 miles is a long way to chafe: December 2015

http://clydesdale2kona.blogspot.com/2015_12_01_archive.html

1406 miles is a long way to chafe. Sh#t The Boy says. Never a backward step. Sandypoint half marathon - broke the 100 minute mark. Melbourne Marathon - 17 minute personal best time. Shepparton Challenge - 8th fastest bike time in my age group, broke the 5 hour mark. Morningtom Long course - solid ride and then ran out the final leg (last year I had to walk the hills). Everything was going to plan. Besides, in the morning, "Hell Week" begins. I guess I'll call my backward step a lead in to a running start.

Thursday, October 18, 2012. Well, Andy is 2 weeks old now and still cute as ever! With a full head of dark brown hair and a pleasant disposition, Mommy is in love! Tuesday, October 2, 2012. Wednesday, August 29, 2012. I'm getting that nesting feeling! I love getting everything out for baby boy and looking at all the cute little clothes! And I keep getting nervous that I'm going to get up from the couch and my water is going to break! Thursday, August 2, 2012. Surviving the summer heat. If I'm lucky :).

Many upsides to using Airbnb that it can come as a bit of a shock when you eventually have less than perfect experience. Tuesday, June 7, 2016. There have been rumors going around about Apple releasing their newest and latest iPhone coming in September 2016. Every year Apple releases a new iPhone in their 4. Quarter. And every other year that iPhone is a brand new phone, whereas the other year the iPhone released is an update to the one the previous year. For example;. IPhone 5S and 5C. IPhone 6 and 6 Plus. The home button will be eliminated, so that there is room for a bigger screen. When reading this I was surprised that...
