So Long San Diego. This trip was a great way to end my last summer before I start work. It was fun to relax and play in the sun. You Might Also Like. We started as Highschool Sweethearts, and we are now Husband and Wife. We were married in June 2011 and we live in South Jordan, UT. Alison graduated from BYU in 2011 with a degree in Communications. She is currently pursuing a MBA from the University of Utah. She works for a software company for car dealerships, and loves what she does! So Long San Diego.

Weekend Hiking - Brighton Lakes. I cannot believe that summer is nearly over. Where in the world did it go? We took advantage of the beautiful weather this weekend by hiking to Lake Catherine. This is Eric's new favorite hike. We passed 3 beautiful lakes, spent plenty of time in nature, and more importantly spent time with each other. And CC goes on a hike. MAcc Orientation and Service Project. This week was zero week for the MAcc program at the University of Utah. I am now officially a masters stude...

Decorating the Christmas Tree. We made it home! The trip to NYC was absolutely everything we thought it was going to be. It reminded me how much I absolutely love my parents, siblings, sibling in laws, Eric, and of course little Skylee Dallas. I know we are going to look back on this trip for several years with very fond memories. My mama and her babies - one of my favorite pictures from the trip. I was fortunate enough to meet the love of my life when I was 16 years old. Being with Eric makes me so ...

San Diego Zoo Day - Eric & Alison
http://ericandalisontroff.blogspot.com/2015/07/san-diego-zoo-day.html
San Diego Zoo Day. Today Alison was a good sport and went with Debbie and I to the San Diego Zoo. Alison is not a fan of animals in cages. We figured the San Diego Zoo is world famous and I really wanted to check it out. As far as zoos go it was really amazing. Before we headed to the zoo we met Debbie on the roof of our hotel for breakfast. The breakfast filled us up and it was free, but the seating area was awesome. We had great views of the city. It was fun to sit and eat outside. We had to stop by th...

The Warning Track of Summer. In the back of a recent sports illustrated I read an article that described August at the warning track of summer. This description was very apt, particularly this year. I started this post during the first week of August. I can't believe that tomorrow August will be over. It has flown by. I Passed the CPA Exam. We started as Highschool Sweethearts, and we are now Husband and Wife. We were married in June 2011 and we live in South Jordan, UT. Alison graduated from BYU...Today...

Yesterday was Alison's birthday. She turned 25 on April 25th. It was a special birthday. Alison had carrot cake for breakfast, because what better way is there to start off your birthday than with cake. Alison then went with Kristin and Debbie to get Skylee's 2 year old pictures. It was a great thing to do because Alison loves spending time with Skylee. This was Alison's favorite picture from the photo shoot. In honor of Alison's birthday I wanted to write just a few of the things I love about her:.

Oh Zion, Dear Zion. Eric and I have been DYING to hike for all of May, but between weather and our crazy schedules we haven't been able to get up to the mountains. The tops of the mountains are still snowy so we decided to head to Zions so we could get some good hikes in before the month was out! After finishing up the Narrows we got back in the car and headed home, but not before making reservations with Zion Ponderosa to go back to Labor Day. I can't wait. I want to do Hidden Canyon, and the Na...Memor...

A Holly Jolly Christmas. This year was the best Christmas yet! Skylee was so delightful while we were making cookies. She had been sick for several days so it was so nice to see her back to her usual behavior. At one point she was trying to take the cats temperature with a USB drive. I guess her mama had taken her temperature more than once in the preceding days. Christmas morning was a delight. Eric got me the Oh Jerusalem. The Troff Family Party was delightful. We talked with several members of Eri...

We love the Met's slogan - "I'm glad we MET". Central Park was so beautiful. We saw lots of turtles around central park. There is a turtle climbing up on this branch. Our first and last stop of the trip was Grand Central. Next we wandered over to Rockefeller center. It is such a nice area. We sat down and enjoyed being in the center. We also talked about our November trip when we will be coming to see the Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall and go ice skating. We are so excited. We got some mo...
