Everyday Life Through a Lens: Happy Birthday!

http://www.everydaylifethroughalens.blogspot.com/2011/05/happy-birthday.html

Everyday Life Through a Lens. Wednesday, May 4, 2011. This is my husband's birthday "cake." He loves German chocolate, but not everyone in the house does. So I thought this year I would go trendy and do the cupcake thing with a variety of frosting options. I like the depth in this picture. And the cupcakes look pretty tasty, if I do say so myself. Everyday Life Through a Lens: Metro

http://www.everydaylifethroughalens.blogspot.com/2011/05/metro.html

Everyday Life Through a Lens. Monday, May 9, 2011. The Orange line New Carrollton train coming into the station. Of course it is dark in the station and I had the aperture open as far as it would go (5.6), but the shutter speed was still super slow (6 seconds). If you look closely, you can see the "C" of "Carrollton" repeated in the top orange stripe. The larger yellow stripe is the window looking into the lighted train car. Everyday Life Through a Lens. Sunday, January 30, 2011. This is Ginger Snap. In the first photo, she gets her first glimpse at her new home. In the second, she is hiding under a chair for the foreseeable future. Her foster dad said that she did this for about two days and then started hanging out with the people in the house, sitting with them, following them around and such. House feels like a home again. Friday, January 28, 2011. Wednesday, January 26, 2011. Settlers of Catan Snow Day. Manassas Battlef...

Hometown Life: On my way to work...

http://hometownblogs.blogspot.com/2011/01/on-my-way-to-work.html

Photos and insights from the Front Range. Sunday, January 30, 2011. On my way to work. On my way to work may end up being the title to a number of my blog post. I acquired a pocket camera. To aid in my daily quest to capture small (and sometimes big) moments that would otherwise be left to words or fleeting descriptions, of a perspective in Boulder County, along the Front Range in Colorado. Colorado, in a word, is picturesque. Having a camera at all times is a mandate. March 24, 2012 at 1:45 AM.

Photos and insights from the Front Range. Sunday, January 30, 2011. One of the cool things about working in publishing is that you are surrounded by creative types. Writers, photographers, graphic artists are around every corner of my workplace. So many of us are in the practice of sharing our creativity, sometimes even outside of work. Recently, I had the pleasure of going to Oskar Blues. In Longmont and watching a show by the Quentin Young Band. On my way to work. Back in the saddle again. Meet the New...

Photos and insights from the Front Range. Tuesday, January 6, 2009. With the government scrambling to give corporate bailouts and consumers cutting back, we were wondering what is your recipe for success? Shopping at thrift stores, taking stay-cations, eating out less frequently all can save you money. You can be frugal in a tough economic climate by simply modifying items like your at-home dinner menu. Things like buying rice and beans in bulk saves money over buying individual portions of food. Photos and insights from the Front Range. Wednesday, April 7, 2010. Students and teachers move to iPad tech. In Lafayette will issue lessons and iPads. Next year. I went back to Kyangwali to finish up with the project you were doing for AAH/I. I took some really interesting images but am not gonna post them as this time I instead decided to do a little something for you. Hope you like it. Everyday Life Thru My Lens. Share in the magic and wonder of my world and listen in on my thoughts. What If Compassion Was Our Compass? July 31, 2015. Summer is flying by and August is literally minutes away, as I’m posting this blog entry! We’ve been experiencing a bit of a heat wave in Toronto lately. If there was any question before, summer is definitely here! I’m not one of those people who tends to remember their dreams, although I’m working on that! It seemed a bit out of left field for me. I d...

everydaylifeunless | there is a question mark

There is a question mark. This blog is now deceased. May 20, 2012. So it’s been fun writing random stuff and taking care of this blog, but I will not be writing here anymore. I didn’t like leaving things without confirmation so I’ll formally say I will not be posting anything else. It was kind of obvious though since my last post was five months ago but just saying. =P. Don’t delete that! December 27, 2011. I’m not much different from how I was earlier…. November 25, 2011. I just had to answer this.
