A chronicle of my battle with chronic blood clotting. A Boomer’s Battle With Blood Clot Disease. June 5, 2016. June 18, 2016. Cycling Along The Columbia River. I felt invincible. And that’s what has made my fall especially hard to take. Now I can’t take an easy walk without bringing along a portable oxygen tank, in case my blood oxygen level falls too low. I tire easily. I get lightheaded. I have not been able to ride a bike or swim for weeks. Will I have to settle for a mostly sedentary life?
