Contact Lens experiment - first day. I've been pushing myself to get contact lenses for SCA purposes for a while and finally made the jump. Those in the know will recall my left eye's functionality was wrecked by a horsefly bite when I was four or five and I've had a phobia about things close to my eyes since. Got a trial pack to play with before a follow up appointment on Monday. I'm only wearing one lens, for my right eye, which is longsighted and has astimatism. Still, one childhood phobia, nailed.
