Outdoor Photos of the Building. Close to the St Madoc Centre’s own beach are Broughton Beach and Llangennith Beach which are well-known for having good beginner’s surf all year round. Whitford Sands, which is further north, is less suitable for swimming or surfing, having strong rip-tides close to shore. Cwm Ivy Wood, which is a short walk away, is picturesque coniferous woodland brimming with wildlife. Galleries of pictures taken around the St Madoc Centre can be found here. http://thecitywithaview.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
The City With A View. Images from in and around Swansea. Thursday, 28 May 2009. Castle Square and Swansea Castle. On one of my very few trips into the city centre I took a few shots of Swansea Castle and Castle Square. I vaguely remember Castle Square being Castle Gardens before somebody thought it would be a good idea to pave over the flowerbeds and build a fountain, somehow this is looked at as progress. Friday, 22 May 2009. Swiss Valley Reservoir, Llanelli. Tuesday, 12 May 2009. The second part to wal...

The City With A View. Images from in and around Swansea. Friday, 31 July 2009. I got a little camera happy so I'll be breaking up today into three posts and hopefully I'll try and do a little write in each post. Saturday, 25 July 2009. Red Arrows over Mumbles. The City With A View. Images from in and around Swansea. Thursday, 8 January 2009. Dunvant Brickwork in the Winter. Just a few pictures I took while walking my parents dogs, it was cold and the sun was surprisingly bright. Its still quite picturesque even though all the trees are dying back, and the pond was completely frozen over which for some reason incites people to chuck anything and everything on the ice.
