Exploring Wonderland: December 2010

http://www.exploringwonderland.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html

Meg Nelson's blog about discovery, travel and any other subject that she feels like writing about. Monday, December 20, 2010. Go to the Woodland Park Zoo. In the Winter. On those summer weekends up on Phinney Ridge, I would sit at my local coffee shop and watch the overwhelming number of families, local and tourist alike, stream into the area to go to the zoo. What on earth were they thinking? That is what I remember. But for some reason, yesterday I decided to go. The zoo was quite. A few bundled up...

Meg Nelson's blog about discovery, travel and any other subject that she feels like writing about. Wednesday, April 25, 2012. A Year of Progress: Reflections on Women's Leadership Summit 2011. It’s strange to think that it was only a year ago that I attended Shandel Slaten’s. Women’s Leadership Summit (Read my initial reaction here. Reflecting back on the year that has passed since I’m going to attempt to describe the monumental shift that has happened in my life. My personal values consist of my family,...

Meg Nelson's blog about discovery, travel and any other subject that she feels like writing about. Tuesday, January 31, 2012. My brother is very adventurous. He sees food he's interested in at a street vendor, points to it and lifts up his hand to say "one please". Today we had some sort of meat wrapped in tofu. Guess whose birthday it is! Happy birthday, dad! Lots of birthday love from Vietnam! The Space Needle of Saigon. That being said, the view of Saigon it offers is literally out of this world.

Kerri's Adventures in Oz: Filling in the gaps

http://kerrisadventuresinoz.blogspot.com/2011/06/filling-in-gaps.html

Kerri's Adventures in Oz. Sunday, June 19, 2011. Filling in the gaps. Right, so my last proper blog was in August of last year. Almost a year ago. While I could use my personal laptop dying as an excuse - I've never been one for excuses so I'll own up to being lazy. (I have been using my work laptop at home anyways). So where has the year gone? A lot has happened and it has gone by quite quickly, so I'll do a fast recap before hopefully getting on with things. Over christmas I went to Europe with my niec...

Kerri's Adventures in Oz: June 2010

http://kerrisadventuresinoz.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html

Kerri's Adventures in Oz. Tuesday, June 29, 2010. Progress is Slow but it's still Progress. It is now Day 5 after my surgery and progress is slow but somewhat steady. The swelling continues to go down, however my knee is still quite large. The oh so important range of motion is getting a bit better. I have a couple exercises to work on this but what I can do is mainly move my leg as far as I can until the swelling makes it uncomfortable. Friday, June 25, 2010. First Full Day back from Surgery. I woke up ...

After a great weekend the work week was a bit of a nightmare but I won't dwell on that - am moving onto the great weekend weather we had AGAIN. Now more on Spain. as many of you might know my neice is going to study abroad in Spain from August till January. I've decided to go visit her over the Christmas and New Years break - YAY! Kerri's Adventures in Oz: Continued Flatmate Drama

http://kerrisadventuresinoz.blogspot.com/2010/08/continued-flatmate-drama.html

Kerri's Adventures in Oz. Wednesday, August 25, 2010. Ok so this one is very low drama as compared to the last one. However I am bummed to say the least. My flatmate - Katie - who has been absolutely fantastic to live with, has moved back to Brisbane. This is brought about by missing her family and being offered a job back home. While this is sad and I think she should give it more than two months, I realise the desire and she hasn't been a jerk about it. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Kerri's Adventures in Oz: Knee Update

http://kerrisadventuresinoz.blogspot.com/2010/07/knee-update-and-other-randomness.html

Kerri's Adventures in Oz. Monday, July 26, 2010. Right, so I realise it's been a while since I've done a update on my knee so here goes. In summary - all is going alright. Not fantastic but good. I'm seeing the physio once a week and will see the surgeon next week - so hopefully I'll hear that all is going well. On the work front things have been busy, busy, busy with me doing the work of a couple people until a new team member joins me. But I'm doing some really cool stuff which is exciting. HI PORTLAND...

Kerri's Adventures in Oz. Tuesday, December 22, 2009. However as part of us spending time together before he left we've done some pretty cool things, which I haven't updated on my blog. So I'll do it now. :). Over the long weekend in (which I wrote about a couple blogs ago) we were trecking up and down the coast together. Here is one of the good pictures from the weekend to let you know what Phil looks like. Phil and I at Stanwell Park. Prior to beginning the trek. Look forward to more updates and genera...

http://kerrisadventuresinoz.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html

Kerri's Adventures in Oz. Monday, April 26, 2010. Delayed End to Final Swim. Today was supposed to be the final swim of the season - however the ocean gods decided it was not to be. I was all set to swim the 2.4 K, however as the 1K group was going the 4 rescue boats, jet ski, and 20 surf life rescue people in there there were quite a few people who turned back. In the mean time, my knee is feeling good due to my limited drinking which also means I have saved money and spent less time standing in line at...

http://kerrisadventuresinoz.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html

Kerri's Adventures in Oz. Wednesday, February 24, 2010. And I thought it was hot in January. I'm not sure if it's made the news in the states, however Monday was the hottest night in 13 years. Yes I said 13 years! Now add to that the humidity, lack of air conditioning, lack of bug screens (which means I get unwanted visitors at night), and you have a very unpleasant and restless nights sleep. :(. Any who. it's a cool night and I'm off to try to get a good nights sleep. Wednesday, February 10, 2010. Howev...

Exploring the inner space and experience of creativity. November 9, 2012. The Subconscious: The Fount of Creativity?
