February 20, 2014. I wish i may, i wish i might. So it's thunderstorming and just shy of 40 degrees right now. It's been a big bucket of crazy weather today, ranging from thundersnow, to rain, wind; everything but the kitchen sink according to mLive. Although I can't find the exact article, but I'm told so by my hubs). So the big news around here as of late is that I got a new job! Would probably actually drive me nuts, not actually acting as a working calendar, but I think it's funny. Just hoping I don'...
exploring woods: moose love winter
http://www.exploringwoods.blogspot.com/2014/02/moose-love-winter.html
February 06, 2014. Last week or so, I was beyond stoked to see my first street art in my own town. I was heading to work, and caught a glimpse of it on my drive by. There's a fork in the road, and in between the fork lies an itty bitty abandoned building. I have no idea what it used to be; maybe a gas station, but that's just a stab in the dark. I was bummed, for sure. Not long after, the third disappeared as well. The moose is still hanging on, though, for which I'm grateful. If you look closely at the ...

Gypsy in Jasper: Project Life: January
http://nicolescoffeeshop.blogspot.com/2014/03/project-life-january.html
Monday, March 17, 2014. So much, in fact, that one morning, well before the snowplows had made it onto any of the secondary streets in town, I found myself trudging through calf deep snow on my way to an interview. Ick! Oh, and at this point, I'm still not drinking. Remember? I took a vow of sobriety for the month of January. The week of January 20, there were a bunch more festival events, like the annual street party and fireworks, and the chili cook-off. This is also the time when my friend Katheri...

http://nicolescoffeeshop.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 27, 2014. 1 One night I came home after a LONG day and all I wanted was a creamy bowl of Kraft Dinner. But, as I was making it, I managed to destroy the cheese packet, sending orange powder flying around my kitchen, onto the stove and the floor and all over me. Ian felt the need to document the moment. This is what you get. We walked out that place with bags and bags of fish sauce. Score. 3 I finally restocked on soap from The Hive Botanicals. 6 On treat yo'self day. 8 This mural was o...

Exploring the inner space and experience of creativity. November 9, 2012. The Subconscious: The Fount of Creativity? The concept of the subconscious as the fount of creativity has fascinated me for several years now.
