Winter Halo over Fairholme Farms. Farm Map / Aerial. Tuesday, April 22, 2014. Winter Halo over Fairholme Farms. Mike shared this amazing photo of a Winter Halo around the Horse barn. In folklore, moon rings are said to warn of approaching storms. Like other ice halos, 22° halos appear when the sky is covered by thin cirrus clouds that often come a few days before a large storm front. Well, given the Winter we ended up having, the part about warning of an approached storm was true in spades!

A "FAMILY" FARM AND MORE.:). Sunday, January 31, 2010. It has been awhile since my last post but I have issues that prevent me from typing like a normal person so that is that. This photo was awhile back on a snowy morning but still nice and warm outside. Things are still cooking around the farm despite the nasty weather and sub zero temps. A lot of warmth by the fire, next to a patio covered in snow from the previous nights storm, a heck of a time with the weather but we were very cozy and warm and shall remain that way. It is a very wet weekend here on the farm. To this point we have had over 2 inches of rain since it started which is just making things very soupy to say the least. I am sure Mike is OK. As of next Monday, I will be half way through my radiation and chemo treatments. To this point I think I am doing OK. I mean being a tiger and all it is just their nature not that she is realy. Wild or anything like riding pigs when no one is looking or any crazy stuff like that they were just all dolled for a day at the zoo which is also very similar to a day at school without the animal teachers which are usually muskrats in disguise but lets not go there!

I made a trip to see my radiation doctor today and some prolonged checking of my vitals and asking questions he painstakingly. Shoved what felt like a movie projector up my nose and down the back of my throat. After some hummmms. He tells me he sees no sign of a tumor and everything looks okee. LONG LIVE THE DOC! May you all have the most wonderful.

Mother and baby are doing just fine and I will get more details as soon as I can. OK it is Monday and I have more info. Marlee Jo weighed 7 pounds 11 ounces, was 21 inches long and her head was 14 centimeters in diameter.ouch.Congratulations guys and good luck, we are all happy for you.:) ) ). Friday, June 26, 2009.
