Fair wind and plenty of it. We caught a cab to the Tainan Airport at 5:45am on the advice of the hotel's front desk staff. We got to the airport around 6:25am, only to discover that the airport didn't actually open until 7:00am! So, we had to wait around until counter staff, baggage check, and security staff arrived. Afterwards we frittered about in the room for a bit, then decided to check out and head for the train station. When we got close to the hotel I figured out the issue: the hotel name and address was written in pinyin, but Tainan uses a different Romanization system for Chinese writing. Fair wind and plenty of it. We visited the small museum in the building adjacent to the Anping Tree House, as well as the Zhu Ying Jiu Residence which has been transformed into a calligraphy museum. So, off we went to the hotel. Our flight left at 7:30am the next morning so we went back to the hotel, sorted out our luggage, and watched a bit of television before calling it a night. This is my 15 minutes of fame. What is that in web-speak? Monday, April 30, 2007. Remember the Kitchen Aid fridge I was talking about. Well, it was due to arrive at All Temp last week, so I called to find out just when and then drove down to check it out. It was 4-5 years old, white, not dented and downright beautiful.for a fridge. Just look at the difference! I cleared out some of the stuff I had kicking around, but I didn't expect to fit all my refrigerables in the door! Update: Evin's freezer shelf.

Of drywall mud on my kitchen and dining room walls! Most of it is in the kitchen where all the crappy texture was. But the dining room wall has its fair share to conceal the bad plaster job the previous owners did when making the openings, and the fact that my drywall installation wasn't perfect.
