http://lexibeattie.blogspot.com/2010/03/perception.html
A ship in port is safe, but that's not what ships are built for. - Grace Murray Hopper. Monday, March 15, 2010. Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about perception. (yes, for those of you who just sighed and said oh no, she is having one of those deep-thought days providing lots of thoughts but with no real answers, you will want to save yourself the frustration and just stop reading now…don’t worry, I won’t be offended…in fact, I will never know :). I love this quote by J.R.R. Tolkein:. You don’t un...

Lexi's Life: Happy Valentines Day!!
http://lexibeattie.blogspot.com/2010/02/happy-valentines-day.html
A ship in port is safe, but that's not what ships are built for. - Grace Murray Hopper. Wednesday, February 10, 2010. To be honest, I have never been a big fan of valentines day. Not because I am single, but because it seems crazy to me that we need a holiday in order to express how much we care about others. It seems like this should happen naturally and much more often than once a year. The light in my grandma's eyes as she recalls stories of my grandpa with fondness. Holding hands during the love songs.

Life in the Slow Lane: December 2010
http://thejennaandwayneshow.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Life in the Slow Lane. Sunday, December 5, 2010. Thank You, Patti Lloyd! So today my mom was teaching the Relief Society (the women's organization in the church) lesson, and Patti Lloyd called in from Atqasuk! She isn't online with us very often, but she called in today to hear Mom's lesson and it seriously brought so much joy to my heart! When Patti was in town a few months ago she saw a bunch of cars at the church and stopped by to say hello to old friends, and I was so thrilled to see her!

A ship in port is safe, but that's not what ships are built for. - Grace Murray Hopper. Monday, March 29, 2010. Interesting experience this past week that related to my thoughts on perception. These boys will remember this day for as long as they live." I thought to myself."really, a simple tour of a univ...I went ba...
