PandA: June 2014
http://pandaflynn.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 11, 2014. We spent a few weeks with Linda before the three of us headed up the coast. We hiked to the Hollywood sign on Saturday morning. After our hike we visited Page Muesum at La Brea Tar Pitts. Tons of animals have been excavated including wolves, saber tooth cats, coyotes, bears, horses, sloths, camels, and mamoths. And by tons I mean over one million! Yes that just happened. We got to see this guy and Stephanie a lot. He has some pretty sweet dancing moves. Thursday, June 5, 2014.

PandA: November 2013
http://pandaflynn.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 29, 2013. Ashley has many skills. She can fight off the most terrifying bears with just two fingers each hand. She can shrink jars of mayonnaise. Yep, she's got skills! Wednesday, November 27, 2013. Just do it for George". Now it was 12:30 am and this was getting silly. I was nowhere near sleepy. Tossing and turning again the following exchange occurred:. P: "I just can't fall asleep! A: "Just turn on your side! P: "We were just like that.". A: "Just do it for George! Lazyman = fit man.

Momblog: Memorial Day 2013
http://momblogadventures.blogspot.com/2013/05/memorial-day-2013.html
Mom's Musings and More Miscellaneous Minutia. Tuesday, May 28, 2013. We found a perfect parking place right near the pier. We got out and their noses were going like crazy! They were in dog heaven! We walked on the pier, then out to the beach. I wanted them to get their feet wet. So we did - they got wet up to their tummies and weren't sure they liked that! Later in the day, I went over to David and Rita's for some really yummy barbecued ribs. They were so good! Well, I wonder what next year will bring!

Momblog: Camp Memories
http://momblogadventures.blogspot.com/2013/06/camp-memories.html
Mom's Musings and More Miscellaneous Minutia. Sunday, June 16, 2013. Camp was 6/11 to 6/14/13. Short but sweet. It was such a fun week! The girls were awesome. They just amazed me. It seemed a little bit of heaven to me. They always had a good attitude - no complaining or whining! It was a little shocking! Day 1 was filled with moving in, decorating and just very busy. Day 2 we went on a hike - Oh what a hike for this old lady! Then there was Gigi, a leader from our ward who was ahead of me, always with ...

RCMT: Road/Cyclocross/ Mountain/Triathlon: April 2010
http://rcmt.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
The Master B Caboose. Thursday, April 22, 2010. Dura Ace vs. Dura Ace vs. Dura Ace. I realized a couple of days ago that I have three bikes with Shimano Dura Ace groups. All different set ups though. I have my Lapierre with the Di2 7950 stuff. I have my father's old Specialized SWorks carbon with the 7800 model group. I have my custom steel Cernitz Mule commuter with its 9 speed dura ace bar end shifter (way low tech). The one that gets ridden the most? Will I trade in the other stuff? Create your own vi...

Day-in-the-Life Fisher Style: November 2011
http://fisherstyle.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 5, 2011. My Openly Weeping Appreciation for Helpers. The other day I took my little brother Ed out to lunch for his birthday. He was born when I was in the 7th grade. My mom was 42, I believe, when she had Ed, her final child. She was also teaching at the same junior high I attended. I found out that my mom gave birth to a baby along with all my fellow junior high classmates and faculty. The announcement came over the intercom system:. I loved the faculty at West Minico! I know, I know...

Day-in-the-Life Fisher Style: Idaho: The Gemiest State of them All
http://fisherstyle.blogspot.com/2012/08/idaho-gemiest-state-of-them-all.html
Monday, August 27, 2012. Idaho: The Gemiest State of them All. At the pre-dinner event at Ironman Texas, the announcer asked the crowd, "Let's see if I'm in the right state." Then he began to sing, "The stars are bright, they're big and bright.". To which the crowd clapped four times in unison and belted out, "Deep in the heart of Texas.". I'm not going to lie to you: I thought that was pretty cool. Being proud of one's state hits near and dear to my heart. Did you hear that? And here we have Idaho-.

Day-in-the-Life Fisher Style: Utah/Idaho: My two home states
http://fisherstyle.blogspot.com/2012/08/utahidaho-my-two-home-states.html
Sunday, August 26, 2012. Utah/Idaho: My two home states. As of late June, I have now lived in Utah longer than I've lived in Idaho. I moved away from my birth state of potatoes and irrigation canals to Utah County exactly 18 years ago. I love Idaho, and I love Utah. But what I've found is some Idahoans don't always love Utahans, and some Utahans think Idahoans are backwater hicks. That’s like talking about which one’s better: the New Jersey Nets or the Washington Wizards.”. Let’s be honest, western...

Day-in-the-Life Fisher Style: Drinks: The New Mormon Frontier
http://fisherstyle.blogspot.com/2013/01/drinks-new-mormon-frontier.html
Sunday, January 27, 2013. Drinks: The New Mormon Frontier. When I was a senior in high school, our church had a youth dance with a 50s theme. My brother and I thought it would be cool to go as "rebels without a cause.". We tried finding some candy cigarettes that we could roll up in our sleeves, but the store didn't carry them anymore. So we made our own fake cigarettes and rolled them in our sleeves. I've blogged before about Kulani's dinner parties. Our dinner guests brought it big time. These drin...
