Monday, August 16, 2010. My Montreal Blog, At Last. Sorry it has been so long. I was in Montreal for a week, and then I got back and have been spending all of my time loving my Gussie. Here it is, the InterContinental. They had really nice flowers in the lobby all of the time. I was particularly thrilled by these Amaryllis - I have NEVER seen them as a cut flower. Crazy! Thursday, August 4, 2011. Long Time, No see. Anyway, to catch up.Gus turned two almost a month ago! We had a big party with all of our family, and Kevin used his new smoker to make some excellent ribs. Here are some highlights:. John (and Jenny and Charlie) were here. Gus and John had a pretty time playing together most. Gus licking the beater with cake batter for his birthday cake! Gus's big birthday present! It will be awhile yet til he can reach the pedal and actually drive it. Gus got a new tricycle!

Wednesday, June 30, 2010. The chickens are free, and Gus went to his first Cards game! After months and months and I don't want to know how much money spent, Kevin is finally done with the chicken coop! Here is the finished product. Sorry for the sun blaring behind it.
