Tuesday, August 23, 2011. I noticed some bloggers have been challenging themselves. To actually complete a project inspired by something they saw on Pinterest. I decided to give it a go. My sister-in-law has a passport with many, many stamps in it and she often sends fun and interesting postcards to my son. We needed a place to display them and when I saw this alphabet board. On Pinterest, I had to replicate it. I think it's super cute! Now all I need is more magnets. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Tuesday, September 29, 2009. Future Racer or Just like Dad. Griffin was delighted to help Dad and the crew in the garage a few weekends ago. Endless fun! He found lots of nuts and bolts and hid them in nooks and crannies for Dad to find later. The race car had some problems at the track this weekend. I hope it wasn't because of an errant bit of metal Griffin hid somewhere! The more food on your face. the more you like it? Do you think Griffin likes peanut butter and nutella sandwiches? Friday, December 3, 2010. Griffin was goofing around and Webber wasn't quite sure what was going on. You can see his reaction here. The whole family is getting in on this yoga thing. Aunt Liz and Daddy were practicing their handstands when Griffin decided to give it a try. Yes, he will be 6 months old next week. It took me a while to get around to it but here it is! Monday, January 17, 2011. How 'come daddy gets all the sips? She's also been playing around with different accents, mostly trying to be "fancy" like Fancy Nancy. I can't do it justice on a blog, but it is really funny to see and hear her act. She gets it honest. Hopefully I'll post again soon. She said something hilarious at the table the other morning, but of course, I didn't write it down right then, and now it is escaping me. I'd lose my head if it wasn't attached, somedays. Such a smart 3 year old.

Tuesday, January 27, 2009. I went to Portland to run my first trail marathon. It was hosted by Endurance Life and it started like this. We ran over cliff tops and bounded through muddy puddles on the edges of 200 foot drops. The scenery and difficulty of the trail made it so an I-pod was not only unnecessary but forbidden. Because of the rough terrain the race took me more than five hours to complete, and it made the Florence marathon seem like a walk in the park. Links to this post.

Monday, December 1, 2008. I laid everything out the night before, and when I woke at 6:30 it was raining. Cold. Paolo came outside the apartment at km 38 to take my photo. He looked very clean and well rested. How I managed to be grinning in this photo I have no idea. I was somewhere between delirium, relief (at being so close to the end, and seeing someone who, if I'd really wanted him to, could have taken me home) and pride. Oh, this was a nice moment!
