Our Seasons of Life: A happy heart and a toilet bowl
http://bryantandwhitney.blogspot.com/2012/09/a-happy-heart-and-toilet-bowl.html
How You Can Help. Wednesday, September 19, 2012. A happy heart and a toilet bowl. All that being said- I'm not always grateful or even thankful to have to clean. Especially bathrooms. And even more so toilets. He wanted me at the counters and not to disturb his work. I figured this was a "teachable moment" and I started explaining to him why we were doing this - it was a way we could worship and serve God. God used a toilet bowl and a little boy to teach me how to serve Him. He's that powerful! Ramble On...
Our Seasons of Life: Pursuit
http://bryantandwhitney.blogspot.com/2013/05/pursuit.html
How You Can Help. Saturday, May 4, 2013. A few years ago, if you would have shown me this picture, I would have told you that this was a picture of the continent of Africa. There would have been no emotions, no heartstrings attached with that statement. Today, fortunately, I would tell you something different. God has graciously blessed Bryant and I to start the adoption process to bring our child home, from Ethiopia, Africa. We both have always had a desire to adopt. Being with Henley in the NICU re...

Our Seasons of Life: October 2013
http://bryantandwhitney.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
How You Can Help. Thursday, October 10, 2013. A question that is often asked to Whitney and me is, “Why Ethiopia? 8221; I do believe this is a valid question being that there are statistically 153 million orphans in the world, but it is a rather overwhelming question. I think the real questions behind; “Why Ethiopia? 8221; are why not adopt domestically rather than internationally? When there are 400,540 orphans in the foster care system in your own country and 115,000 of those are waiting to be adopted?

When I called Bryant to tell him we had it scheduled he asked how I was feeling. Please pray that these next 2 (yes, TWO!

How You Can Help. How You Can Help. A few things we would love for you to pray for:. Our son would be protected, cared for, loved on, provided for - food/medicine/clothing, etc. That he would somehow know that he is loved not only by his momma and daddy, but by His Heavenly Father. We would persevere through the process. We would have patience, but an urgency to bring our son home. God would provide the funds and that we would recognize that it is from Him. Fearfully and Wonderfully Mad. June 22, 2015 · 8:50 pm. Frank’s June 2015 Update. Dear Saints and Aints,. During the height of the summer some of my friends circulated a cartoon called God’s Kitchen . It showed God sitting in his kitchen and from his oven smoke and flames billowed out. An angel asked him, Lord what are you cooking? He replied, Nagpur! Though an oft repeated warning should be heeded: He who lives by the medical book [or in this case Mr. Google] may die of a spelling mistake. The summer we...

Fearfully and wonderfully made. Working through the peaks and valleys that life throws at me while clinging to His strength, striving to follow His Word and resting in His arms. Thursday, December 15, 2016. Happy, happy, happy birthday sweet Peanut. Dude - you all of a sudden became a teenager. You've got hair growing all over, you grew all of a sudden, and who knew that cold I thought you were fighting was actually your voice changing? Lots of new grown-up-ish stuff. You're driving! You love to laugh.
