My husband and I have two silly little dogs who are terribly spoiled. For my day job, I do graphic design and web maintenance for a Denver law firm. Felting Through the Tulips: Happy Pooch

Monday, November 9, 2009. This pup is modeled after my rat terrier's coloration. It has a wire frame covered in wool, with glass bead eyes and a red bead on its collar. I like its happy facial expression. :). November 11, 2009 at 3:55 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). C is for Cookie. View my complete profile.

Felting Through the Tulips: Monkey Face

http://www.feltingthroughthetulips.blogspot.com/2009/11/monkey-face.html

Tuesday, November 3, 2009. I think this is an ornament . but if you take off the hanger string, it could just be a nice little softie to play with. His face is based on a children's cake, so it seems logical that he's so cute and sweet. :). He's made of 100% commercially felted wool with felted ear linings and embroidered features. Stamping Through the Tulips: 01/01/2009 - 02/01/2009

http://stampingthroughthetulips.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html

Saturday, January 31, 2009. Oh yeah, I promised blog candy! Because I love stamping (and I assume some of you do, too, or you wouldn't keep visiting), I thought that love-inspired items would be a good pre-Valentine's day goodie bundle. Would you like to win the bundle below? I'm including some red buttons (some are heart shaped), red and pink and brown toned ribbons and a bunch of little stamps perfect for making some love notes. :). Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to hearing from you! This is...

Stamping Through the Tulips: Blue Christmas

http://stampingthroughthetulips.blogspot.com/2009/11/blue-christmas.html

Sunday, November 8, 2009. The only stamping that will be happening soon will be quick stamping. This card is a case of a couple that I've seen online. Very easy! Punch a "moon" out of a large post-it and leave the moon piece on the card while you sponge over it with various blue inks. Then swap the moon piece out, and put down the big post-it piece with the missing "moon" and sponge the moon in a light yellow. Stamp your trees and Santa scene, add some layered mats, and you're done! Lovely as a Tree.

Stamping Through the Tulips: Christmas Cardinal - SAS card #3

http://stampingthroughthetulips.blogspot.com/2009/10/christmas-cardinal-sas-card-3.html

Tuesday, October 27, 2009. Christmas Cardinal - SAS card #3. Here is Stamp-a-Stack card offering #3. The cardinal is colored in with markers after being stamped in black Stazon ink on shimmery white cardstock. I wouldn't normally have put black on a Christmas card, but it seemed like the best way to tie in the black on the bird, and in the end, I liked how it turned out! Stamp the Old Olive layer using the branch silhouette stamp, add a little ribbon for some more festive cheer, and you're done!

Tuesday, March 31, 2009. This is a quick card that I put together using the set Thoughts and Prayers that I showed my mounting solution to in my last post. I'll be making multiples of variations these for the church card ministry, so I needed them to be fairly simple and gender-neutral. I love the colors and patterns in this pack of paper - ETA - the name of the paper is SU's Bella Bleu. It has very calm colors with an upscale, decadent feeling. Thanks for stopping by!
