This delicious Italian bread recipe has a perfect crunchy crust and soft, almost buttery, inside. 1 1/2 cups cool water (12 ounces). 3 1/2 cups artisan bread Flour (14 3/4 ounces). 2 teaspoons instant yeast. 1tsp instant yeast= 1.5 tsp dry active yeast* *. 1 1/2 teaspoons salt.
