Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Silas is growing up so fast! The other day I was minding my own business and apparently the kids were as well. I looked up and realized I had lost one. Can you find the missing the child? This was just precious. Mary Alice was reciting one of her books to Silas. that was until he became more and more adamant about EATING the book! http://benandkatiekunz.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 28, 2008. Yet another necessary Reality Editorial. I surely would not want your vote to be biased by Kate's obsessive use of negatively connotative adjectives. Thursday, March 27, 2008. http://benandkatiekunz.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 31, 2008. It's a great experience to watch. I, too think my wife is probably the best teacher I've met. though the names she comes up with for our future offspring is a different story. No more news at the moment other than additional chandeliers and light fixture finds at recent garage sales. pictures to follow later, I'm sure. Tuesday, May 27, 2008. Well today marks the last day of school! A day that I have looked forward to for the past 181 school days! And I were studying for biology (t...

Monday, July 21, 2008. Well, it is not that the projects are finished by any means but we thought that you all might enjoy an update thus far. The kitchen is still in the midst of moving and therefore I have no pictures yet, but soon! This summer we have painted two rooms downstairs and will be moving upstairs next. The first room to receive a cosmetic makeover was the living room that is now the dining room that will soon be the living room again. This room went from a pale blue to a caramelesque color.

Ben and Katie: January 2008
http://benandkatiekunz.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 27, 2008. Are you my mother? As many of you know, this year I took on/got suckered into teaching AP Biology. There have been very few decisions in my life that I truly, wholeheartedly, regret making.and if you were to have asked me (which some of you, poor, unforturnate souls, did) a few months ago if teaching AP Biology would be #1 on that short list, I would have agreed without hesitation! We are all thrilled about that! We had just spent the week talking about DNA technology, gene clon...

Ben and Katie: Summer in Full Swing...
http://benandkatiekunz.blogspot.com/2008/06/summer-in-full-swing.html
Sunday, June 15, 2008. Summer in Full Swing. Grill #2 was a big loss! We "remembered the Alamo" for weeks with a small memorial in the form of the old utensils not taken with the grill that were just strewn about on the patio. Every time we walked into or out of the house the Martha was mourned. Pictured here is grill #3, my favorite of them all.the Coleman 4000! This pretty babe gets to spend its nights safey parked in the garage! We are taking no chances! June 23, 2008 at 9:25 PM. Better luck this time.

Saturday, July 19, 2008. Benjamin and I have been married for two years, two years that can be summed up in two simple words."learning experience! I have learned everything from the proper way to load the silverware tray in the dishwasher, to proper techniques. For keeping the least amount of moisture in the bathroom. Most recently one of my favorite teachable moments came in the form of appropriate national holidays that lend themselves. THE flag.my husband knew AND felt. As for the 4 th. We felt impres...

http://benandkatiekunz.blogspot.com/2008/07/not-for-faint-of-heart.html
Tuesday, July 29, 2008. Not for the faint of heart! You know those commercials that used to be on for that one product that dealt with toe fungus.the one where the little gremlin looking guy walks up to a toe and lifts up the nail and you cringe because that seems as though it has to be one of the most painful things in the whole world.yeah well I am here to tell you.I have felt WORSE! Let me tell you a little tale about a dog, a ball, and the demise of the prettiest big toe you ever did see! The screami...

Ben and Katie: February 2008
http://benandkatiekunz.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 28, 2008. Original Poem by Boy #3. Today's after school adventure was less about rhyming nonwords. To words (amazingly enough) and more about harnessing the inner poet. Today Boy #3 created an original poem.it goes something like this:. Tuesday, February 26, 2008. My former student and Boy #2 left immediately.Boy #3 however, "still need[s] to finish question #4." I gave him a deadline to make his way out. The deadline came, I told him to "LEAVE! Sunday, February 24, 2008. Most things a...
