November 18, 2014. Off to see the Prince! Once we got back to the bus station the woman insisted we should have stayed there, even though she sent us to the wrong place. Frustrating. Finally, we made it on to the right bus. It took us two hours to get to the city we needed and then it was an extra hour taxi ride to the hot springs. When we finally got there we enjoyed a quick meal. Even though we met at the bus station at 9 am, we did not get to our destination until 2 pm. November 18, 2014 at 4:22 pm.

September 20, 2014. Vera Cruz Weekend →. So the Saturday after my first week of teaching, Janelle, Afaf, Kelly, Yadira, and I all took a mini-vacation to a different, close mountain town. It is called Mineral de Chico and it is tiny! It was only 13 pesos (about $1 USD) for the 40 minute trip to Mineral de Chico.
