Sunday, August 24, 2014. Hot, hot, hot. I'm in New Jersey for the week training. I needed to run 4 miles today and decided to run near the hotel. The Saddle River is nearby and the area has parks with trails all along the river. It's really lovely. The run wasn't so lovely. I need to work on pacing. I start out way too fast and lose steam. Life with a brca mutation. Hop on the Saddle! August 5, 2015. At the bike shop several nights ago, a lady and her daughter came in looking for a bike. Cameron’s 9 and has never learned how to ride a bike. She had a bad experience with a bike when she was a little girl that has scarred her to this day. Recently, she’s been dabbling riding her friend’s bikes on occasion and enjoying it. Eventually, I didn’t have to run alongside her; she was doing it all on her own. She finally realized she could do it!
