Adventures in Munchkinland: August 2009
http://princessandsparky.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
The Princess' Fool-Proof Weight Loss Plan. During breakfast, DH was making PB&J sandwiches, and had both creamy and crunchy peanut butter on the table. Trying to decide which peanut butter she wanted, The Princess said, "The crunchy peanut butter has less fat than the creamy. So I think I'm going to eat the crunchy peanut butter from now on, because I'm trying to get into better shape.". Later in the meal, The Princess was reading the peanut butter jar. She turned to DH and asked, "What is S-A-T fat?

Adventures in Munchkinland: Cupcakes
http://princessandsparky.blogspot.com/2010/04/cupcakes.html
There are few things that I love as much as photography, but baking probably comes pretty close. More than baking, I love. 8211; especially cupcakes and sugar cookies. It’s so much fun to decorate sugar cookies with royal icing, but it tastes pretty awful (I prefer cream cheese frosting for eating), so I usually only decorate sugar cookies when I can take them somewhere and leave them there. In some ways, piping frosting onto cupcakes is even more fun than decorating sugar cookies with royal icing. :).

Adventures in Munchkinland: Glee!!
http://princessandsparky.blogspot.com/2010/04/glee.html
I'm so excited that Glee starts again tonight! I know it's totally geeky (or should I say "Gleeky" - ha! I'm hilarious, right? But I love this show. I think it's probably my all-time favorite TV show. One of my favorite memories about Madrigals is the weeks leading up to Solo and Ensemble festival. We used to practice our pieces in the hallway near the gym - the ceilings were really high, and the acoustics were amazing. When everyone matched pitch just right. You could actually feel. I'm pretty excited f...

Adventures in Munchkinland: February 2010
http://princessandsparky.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Some images from the night I took The Princess outside to play in the snow. It’s been a long time since I’ve photographed non-people (even though in high school I swore I’d NEVER photograph people because I wasn’t any good at it), and it was fun to get back in touch with my artistic side. Borrowed Larisa’s 105mm Micro lens for these images, and I do NOT want to give the lens back to her. It takes such yummy closeups – both for abstract photography and. Where to purchase my new lens. :P. 160; . You’...

Adventures in Munchkinland: November 2009
http://princessandsparky.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Sparky finally has enough hair for a ponytail. Okay, so it’s really not long enough, yet, but I’m so tired of people thinking she’s a boy – even when she’s wearing pink. So since there’s enough hair there to pull up into an elastic, she will have palm tree hair every time she goes out in public. I’m hoping that if I start doing her hair this early, she might keep letting me do her hair – unlike The Princess who refuses to let me get within 10 feet of her if I’m holding a brush or comb. 160; . 160; .

Adventures in Munchkinland: April 2010
http://princessandsparky.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Since Sasquatch lets me sleep in on Saturday mornings, I decided to be nice and stay awake with her while he turned in "early." I think he deserves that every once in a while - especially since he's been working SO hard these last few months. AND he watched both of the girls all afternoon while I had fun downtown doing a family portrait session (I LOVE it when families opt for urban sessions! DAY-doo (thank you)/WEH-come (she has to say the two words together - it's never just "thank you"). Bap (Bath) - ...

Adventures in Munchkinland: October 2009
http://princessandsparky.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
The Princess is 6! The Princess turned 6 on Tuesday. She's growing up way too quickly! Since her birthday was on a school day, we celebrated as a family. She came home from school and opened her gifts, and then we surprised her with a visit to a local pumpkin patch for a haunted hay ride. I'm going to attempt to make Halloween-themed cupcake pops a la Bakerella as party favors. If they turn out, I'll be sure to share pictures of them. 160; Posted by esianoyam3. 160; . 160; . Adventures in Munchkinland: Easter
http://princessandsparky.blogspot.com/2010/05/easter.html
I know I'm really late sharing these, but I've been busy making headbands and editing other sessions, and my personal pictures have fallen behind on the priority list. These pictures are clear back from Easter. She agreed to stop long enough to pose for a picture, but you can see she wasn’t thrilled about it. I love soft, hazy sunset-ey pictures. 160; Posted by esianoyam3. 160; . 160; . Sasquatch – – (May 12, 2010 at 3:27 PM). I should be a hand model! Thats some sexy bucket holding going on!

Adventures in Munchkinland: September 2009
http://princessandsparky.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
I just realized that today is my Blogoversary! I'd offer some sort of contest or giveaway, but I don't think many people read my blog these days, so it wouldn't really be worthwhile. :P. So pretty please, leave me some comments on some of my posts so that I know I'm being visited. :) I'll definitely return the favor when I can remember to do so. 160; Posted by esianoyam3. 160; . 160; . I was actually looking through a box of old papers a few months ago, and I came across some of my old kindergarten rep...
