Create. Cook. Teach.: 10 YEARS?! Flexible Seating and Daily 5
http://createcookteach.blogspot.com/2016/08/10-years-flexible-seating-and-daily-5.html
Friday, August 12, 2016. Flexible Seating and Daily 5. Today was the first day of my 10th year teaching! I think every year it gets a little easier, but I am always learning something new. This year, I really want to embrace flexible seating, Daily 5, and CAFE. For the first time in 10 years, I did not assign kids seats. They got to pick, and will get to pick each day! I can already tell they are going to love it! I'm excited to begin this journey with a new teaching partner too! Posted by April Cremer.

Create. Cook. Teach.: Wedding Treasures
http://createcookteach.blogspot.com/2013/01/wedding-treasures.html
Tuesday, January 1, 2013. I made this suitcase for my sister to keep all of her wedding treasures. I searched high and low for a vintage suitcase that I liked down in the West Bottoms, our antique district. I found this old Samsonite that I think made a perfect wedding treasure suitcase! She lives in CA, but for Christmas she was in Jersey/DC. So I took her this poem and a picture instead of her hauling it back and forth! This bag was too big to bring with me,. I’ve made it small for you to see. After br...

It is funny I’m writing this now because I just got a call from two said friends I walked from. Their angry I didn’t give them 20 dollars they feel I owe them, accusing me of being a drug addict – I don’t do drugs. Accusing me of being a moochey pooky little bitch yada yada yada. Until the day we meet again I say fair well, travel safe and take love with you where ...

Trying to find the oneness of it all
Tuesday, August 14, 2012. Remember everything like each day is your last. Etch the images of venues from your past in your brain. They may not be here when you come back. To this city that is forever changing. It will never be the same. And neither will you. But for now all you can do is remember. For the next 2 weeks, as long as youre here. Its the only way to be in the moment. Its the only way to conquer denial. Because you dont actually want to leave. Or until you feel release. Sweet, sweet release.
