As a result, the number of rules that I had no longer exist. Granted, I still use my trusty Cross pen. But the varying difficulty of the puzzles throughout the week obviate the need for some of the other rules. I am not as strict as. Tradition, don't you know. The tangents we go off on! Monday, April 13, 2009. DAD and THE BLACK ROSE. My father bought our first house when we arrived in Washington DC. Our first house! It meant we, at last, owned ground and Dad was going to make the most of it. He planted several trees around the perimeter of the property. The only one I remember was the mimosa.
