Wednesday, April 15, 2015. My sweet friend, Penny, sent me the recipe for her favorite smoothie. It has become my new favorite as well. It's yummy AND healthy. What more can you ask from a smoothie? 1 med (chopped) beet. 5 oz of org. spinach, (about 2 handfuls). 2 - 3 cups frozen org. blueberries. A little Naked Juice. Mix all in a good blender - Vitamix or Blendtec. If you have just a standard blender, it might not be able to handle the beet, but you could use the bottled beet juice instead.
