In the centre of Scotland in a small part of what is now known as ' Highland Perthshire'. Their story began at the south-eastern end of Loch Tay close to the reconstruction of an iron-age crannog. The post Second World War generation dispersed all over the UK and the 'Fisher' name once common in and around Aberfeldy is now notable by its absence.
