Wednesday, April 1, 2015. And just a really fun loving guy who makes the kids feel comfortable. We are so proud of them and their efforts in learning and progressing with their piano skills. Emma played "Il Nuovo Giorno" (The New Day) by Bastien. Samuel played "Largo" by Dvorak-Bastien and "Come Rock Stars" duet by R. Vinciguerra. Friday, January 30, 2015. I t may not be much, but it does qualify as our first snowfall for the winter- meaning it actually accumulated on the ground. The kids always get so excited when it snows. They woke up to the surprise this morning and it took them a good 30 seconds to figure out what they were looking at in the dark of the morning. Saturday, August 1, 2015. If I could describe the month of July in one word it would be: HOT! Air conditioning the old fashioned way. Watermelon takes SO good for everyone on a hot day. Samuel and Emma, whose rooms are on the upper floor have had to relocate for the summer. Samuel has been sleeping in the basement laundry room and Emma has bunked up in Luca's room. Monday, September 22, 2014. We seemed to barely make a dent in our grape collection, but three hefty bowls of grapes were harvested and enough to get started with. Thankful to have a large wash basin in our laundry room, we made sure to give the grapes a good washing to remove bugs and dirt. Sunday, April 13, 2014. Months of long awaited anticipation finally came to an end for Luca on March 29. Luca’s actual birthday was pretty low-key as we celebrated over lunch at home and had some cake and presents. It was a beautiful day so there was lots of time to play outside with some new toys. Luca scored a personal high of 130 on his first game which made every other subsequent game disappointing. We reconnected with our friends (the ones who stayed with us for Christmas) as our stateside visits and hometown overlap. No hands bike riding.Luca was just asking for another urgent care visit! Thank you Easterling family for inviting us to ride horses again! Tally, Pongo and Cody gave them great rides.

It was perfect as we had direct access to the beach where the kids could play in the blue green waters of the Gulf of Corinth. We prepared simple meals and enjoyed the Greek hospitality given by the rental owners.
