A blog for busy blokes. I am a huge fan of swimming for fitness. Not only is it a great cardio but it’s a lot of fun! I try and get at least 30laps in the 45 minutes before work. Doing both freestyle and breast stroke. I have no idea if that is a lot or a good amount. I am starting to get some good definition in my shoulders though. A blog for busy blokes. Just went for a run in the cold on a friday night……i would sat that i have no life but i am on a night shift…….so i know that i dont have a life! Post workout meal was a mushroom, ham and baby spinach omelette. I pre cooked it before work so it is not as awesome….but not bad anyway. A blog for busy blokes. No seriously I do…….ok well bush walking at least. Walking around the streets of town can get very boring………so I mix it up on the weekends that I don’t have to work. I spend half the time trying to get my other half to come with me and not to spend the entire day of riding horses. (if she had half a chance she would! I envy all those normal workers out there sleeping at normal times, their ability to play sports on a regular basis, or train with friends (nothing better than a training partner to egg you on) to do all the things that they love to do and reasonable hours. As a shift worker the hardest things to do are these ( in no order). 4 Find time to hang out with friends or loved ones. 5 Shift change and sleeeeeeeeeeep! Trip to Trim
A weight loss blog. SW: 180. GW: 130. CW: 170. There’s only four more work days until Spring Break and I couldn’t be more excited! I plan on spending quality time with my family, my boyfriend, and his family. I’m also going to try to do at home workouts during that time since I won’t be anywhere near my local YMCA. I’m hoping to learn a few Zumba routines during break but we’ll see how that goes. I’ve also lost two pounds since last week so that’s a plus!
