The first time I used this herb/spice/root was in a tea form. I took the root I got from my local health store and brewed it. As I had become accustomed to, I added honey. Whoa! Big mistake. It was so sweet! And I like sweet tea let me tell you, but this was over the top! So now sometimes I use it to sweeten other teas.

A great WordPress.com site. This morning I decided to do some baking. I had a pumpkin bread mix in my pantry and decided to make muffins for breakfast. I used applesauce instead of oil and they turned out great. Recently I have decided to stop eating out so much and cook more for myself.
