Once you return home, you simply cannot take up your life in its usual format. You must let others help you out so that the incision, and the underlying tissue, has an opportunity to heal properly. So suggest to someone else that you're more than happy to put the cuttery away, since that requires little bending and stretching, and leave those other items for someone else to deal with.

Welcome to my ramblings on life in a nutty household. Tuesday, July 31, 2007. Electrical, insulation and vapour barrier on most walls = DONE! The renos are continuing. Our friend has done as much as he can but is now stalled until two things happen:. 1 the furnace guys need to move some ducts and the gas line so we can proceed with the insulating , ceiling electricals, and drywalling. 2 the electrician has to finish up the last little bit of wiring (mostly 3- and 4-way switches). In case it's not clear from the photo, that is my microwave taped up with newspaper on the kitchen table. For two weeks now we've been living without a microwave. We don't really cook with microwaves. And it hasn't been THAT much of an adjustment. It's not the end of the world. I have to plan the night before and place the frozen food in the fridge for defrosting. I'm spray painting today....
