My Bird Nest: March 2009
http://birdsnesting.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 31. Monday, March 30. About Those Medical Bills. I am not one to ever question anything, usually. This time, however, I decided to at least try to get it lower. Honestly, I didn't expect it to work, but "it never hurts to ask," right? Hopefully this post will be an encouragement to someone to at least ask. The worst response would be a simple "No," and it really isn't so embarrassing. When that happens. Who knows you may even be as fortunate as me and save $50! Sunday, March 29. Of course ...

My Bird Nest: June 2009
http://birdsnesting.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 3. Planning a Yard Sale. This weekend we are having a yard sale to declutter our home. My husband and I have been married for seven years and we have averaged about one yard sale each year so I feel like I'm starting to get the hang of it. Did I mention we have an aversion to clutter? Pick the right date. Most people get paid on the 1st or 15th of each month so planning your sale as close to then as you can usually has better results. In your local paper, hang up posters, on the radio.

My Bird Nest: Beating the Heat (or at least trying to)
http://birdsnesting.blogspot.com/2009/07/beating-heat-or-at-least-trying-to.html
Thursday, July 9. Beating the Heat (or at least trying to). To say that it is hot here in Texas is a bit of an understatement. For the past several weeks our highs have been in the 100's and it has felt quite miserable. Outside. We received. We bought a plastic pool with a slide at Wal. Mart for $30. It has been worth every penny and then some! And many more. Too bad they aren't calorie free :( . The one very good thing about this summer's heat is that I am really. My Bird Nest: April 2009
http://birdsnesting.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 29. Bo Bo the Hobo. The above is a perfect example of my five year old's unique sense of style and creativity. Meet Bo Bo the Hobo. Using merely colored hair bands, a pen and pen cap, and plastic and wooden blocks, Bonnie created a masterpiece. What, you may ask, is her inspiration? An Upsetting Expierience (for a two year old). I suppose this would be an upsetting experience regardless of age. Albeit, it isn't as likely to happen to an adult due to, um, size. Sunday, April 26. That has ...
