I have to say that I have the best husband in the world. I turned the big 3-6 this week (and I'm kind of depressed about it). For my present, Jeff booked two nights in a hotel for me. 48 hours to myself. To do whatever I want, whenever I want. This is one gift I wasn't about to pass up! Tuesday, August 7, 2012. My paren...

My thoughts.interesting or not. Friday, March 29, 2013. My Life Is Worth More Than $50, Right? In the last month, I've received two emails from Red Robin asking me to be a part of a focus group with them. About two years ago, Jeff and I did this together at Red Robin - we got to taste some new tasty potential menu items, give our feedback on what we liked/disliked, and then we both received a $50 gift card to Red Robin for "sacrificing" an hour of our time. A couple days later, I received a phone call -.

My thoughts.interesting or not. Friday, December 28, 2012. We finally got some snow here in D-town and I was able to give the kids the sled and snow shovels I bought about two months ago. Thursday, December 20, 2012. The Anderson’s year in a nutshell:. Jeff and Shannon spent a weekend in Boulder without kids. They ate at a very fancy restaurant thanks to a gift card Shannon won for a “best dessert” contest. Although, she was still behind in most areas, she showed considerable growth. Year in a row).

My thoughts.interesting or not. Wednesday, October 31, 2012. My pretty little lion. Ready to go get some candy. (Case is a snake, BTW). This is Siahna roaring, although she usually roars with no sound. She's just a baby lion, after all! The bucket makes a good hat. Saturday, October 13, 2012. I don't do a lot of decorating for Halloween, but I saw this on Pinterest and just had to do it so Case cut the crepe paper and I taped and hung. Wednesday, October 10, 2012. Here's what we've been up to lately:.

Journeying Through Life with Two Red Heads: May 2014
http://redhairtales.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 28, 2014. Case made it through his first year of school! This is his teacher, Ms. Fletter. She was awesome! Since I volunteered in Case's classroom each week, I got to know his classmates pretty well. This boy, Voltaire, came up to me after graduation and said, "Can I take a picture with you and Case's sister? And then Mikaela needed a picture with Case's mom and sister. His diploma. Almost fancier than my college diploma. Case, Le'Marcus and Voltaire (V.J.). Monday, May 26, 2014.

http://redhairtales.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 31, 2014. Blueberry Chia Seed Granola Bars. I'm always on the look out for something I can make that my family will eat and like. So when Shiloh sent me this recipe I knew it was a winner. I made one batch with blueberries for Jeff and me and one batch with mini chocolate chips for the kids. I truly can't stop eating them! Blueberry-Chia Seed Granola Bars. 15 cups rolled oats, split. 1/4 cup peanut butter. 1/4 cup coconut oil. 1/3 cup honey (or maple syrup would be tasty). Spoon the combi...

My thoughts...interesting or not: January 2013
http://mamashanners.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
My thoughts.interesting or not. Wednesday, January 30, 2013. I've had a very busy month and my blog has been the last thing on my mind. Here's a few highlights from the month of January. Three days after getting back to Denver, I packed the kids up and headed to NE for four days to celebrate Christmas with my brother and family and to visit my grandparents on the farm and continue my interview of their life story. I registered Case for KG, this time for reals. Victims names etched around the waterfall.

Journeying Through Life with Two Red Heads: November 2013
http://redhairtales.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 20, 2013. We had some family pictures taken this last weekend. Here's the link. Friday, November 15, 2013. Last night Case proudly told us that his front middle tooth was loose. We were so excited and talked all about it. This morning I asked him if I could feel how loose it was. I wiggled and it wouldn't budget. I asked him how he knew it was loose. One of my friends at school told me I had a loose tooth.". Did your friend wiggle your tooth or how did they know it was loose?
