Thursday, June 9, 2011. New waffle cart on the streets of Edmonton! Last week, I went for a walk with a friend during lunch and spotted a new venue on the street: A new waffle cart! I took a quick glance, but did not purchase one as I had eaten prior. I went back this week with a co-worker and it was there again! My co-worker and I were curious as we were hungry so we decided this time to make a purchase. As I chatted with the vendor, Wannawaffel. At $4 a waffle, it's quite pricey.

The IGA was out of Hummus this week (and last week), so I bought a can of white beans and searched the internet for a white bean dip recipe. I found one from WhiteOnRiceCouple.Com ( http:/ whiteonricecouple.com/recipes/spicy-white-bean-dip/. That gave me an idea for what to do….Here it is with minimal adjustments:. 1 can White Beans (I use Progresso). 5 dashes Light soy sauce. 2 Tbsp Srirarcha or other hot sauce.
